I loved todays format and seeing you take notes as you go. I love how you break it down into easy to understand and applicable chunks. Whatever happens in life, I just know God has got me and I can get through - we were never guaranteed an easy passage, but we were guaranteed to have God with us through it all, helping, strengthening and carrying those burdens for me. I would naturally turn to anxiety and worry, but I have to train myself to not focus on the circumstances, but focus on God and still looking for joy or peace despite what I see with my natural eye.

I've asked those questions myself. I've lived in chronic pain for 10 yrs, rarely sleep, have autoimmune disorders, my youngest son has health issues & I'm taking care of my boys alone. Many days are hard & rather my trials are punishment or just natural life, I still praise God everyday. I'm alive & I've got my kids therefore, I am blessed!❤

WOG! I thank you for this Bible Study! My family is going threw hard times and my mind was in a bad place. I told my husband I feel like I'm in a Job situation...I was feeling Empty, I weep and weep. I finally got the strength to ask God for a Word. On tonight I searched for answers and came across you. I very cautious who I want and listen to especially in these times. I heavily related to this- I started watching on Friday and as soon as I was leaving work I noticed I had a flat tire. I know the enemy was trying to attack me by getting me into a lower more negative mind set. Instead I accepted and asked the lord to help me.

I think that we grow more during the hard times. Yes the stretching to grow are difficult but when you go through them you grow and are blessed. During the hard times, God gives you strength when you ask him to get through those times. I will admit I want a break from the tough times but I am so grateful and excited about studying His word with you. Thank you!!!

I have a sense of entitlement when I go through bad things. I always say, 'God, I'm a good person. i've given my life to you. Can't you see me?" I get frustrated, anger, jealous of those who I seem are doing better than me. It's a whole MESS.. but the Lord is so patient and faithful to me. Eventually I get it. I'm glad that He doesn't snatch me out of the fire too quick.

I am in Houston. I lost my beloved husband of 35 years after a long illness. When my husband was ill, I would wonder why we had this monster in our house waiting to take him away. Now I realize what a gift God gave me. I realize we had the chance to say all the things. We learned how precious every moment was. They wound up being the best moments of our lives. He is our Father and if we keep that perspective, He does exactly as we parents do to our children, we discipline them, praise them, but there are sometimes you have to step back (as hard as that is), and let them go through a hard situation. You will look back on it and see that it made you stronger and/or closer to Him.

One of my favorite verses, which seems to always present itself to me every time I need that reminder… “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” ‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭29‬:‭11‬ ‭ESV‬‬ With today’s lesson, I see it for the first time (in ~20 years) from the perspective of a reminder… I am His and for His purpose. So much spiritual meat in these chapters. I remember thinking of Job when the doctor said I had stage 3 thyroid cancer (no cancer anywhere in my family) and we needed to act quickly. It was the beginning of Dec and all the family came that Christmas. I got thru it all and 7 years later I'm still struggling. I know not to be mad at God or blame Him. Thank you for another great study Kanoe! I am learning to listen silently 😊 My take away from day 4 is, God is in control at all times. We’ve been though some tough times in recent years, and sometimes it is hard to distinguish between, is it Him, is it me, or is it just life? When I was diagnosed with a chronic condition years ago, it was more that a little rough, but by drawing nearer to God when I was at my lowest, I am now thankful for my illness! I know, weird right? It allowed me to be better equipped to deal with my daughter being diagnosed as well a few years after me, my son’s cancer, and the grace to deal with my husband’s chronic condition. I lost my brother in 2021 to an overdoses and my niece to sids less than a month later. I remember questioning God during that time and being angry often asking God how could you do this to my family. I can definitely say I did not handle my situation anywhere near like Job. This story made me realize that no matter what youre going through God is always walking by your side and like you said God is still God in good and bad times and we have to praise him in both. I thank him for the two beautiful children he's brought into my family since then. And thank him for the many people who turned their lives to God and found sobriety due to my brothers death, and the lives that have been saved due to the outreach done in the community in my brothers name.

I too am an introvert. I grew up with parents when upset didn't talk to each other or me for three weeks. As a result I am not good at communicating. I like alone time, silence and peace. I am a person who just wants to have someone listen but not tell me what I should do to fix a situation. I go to God for that. Am enjoying your input. May God's protection be on you and your family.
