In third situation, we use brake only to slow down the vehicle or to control the speed but not to stop the vehicle completely and in the fourth situation we have to stop the vehicle completely all of a sudden and keep the engine on, we have to use the clutch. So both the objectives 1) to stop the vehicle completely and 2) to keep the engine on, are achieved 😊

Break after clutch we use at first gear to slow down and stop completely at 0 to 10 kmph

Quick summary: 1) Lower gear scenario : 1st & 2nd gears a) Clutch First & Brake Next This approach to be considered when vehicle is at lower speeds and when obstacle is at a distance b) Clutch & Brake at a time This approach to be considered when someone suddenly came on the road and before vehicle 2) Higher gear scenario: 3rd, 4th & 5th gears a) Brake only for few seconds This approach to be considered when someone is crossing the road at a distance and when vehicle is at a higher speed b) Brake First & Clutch Next This approach to be considered when some one or an animal came suddenly before the vehicle or when previous vehicle hit a sudden brake, especially when the vehicle is at a higher speed
