A Huge Hello to Strick and Fran. Next time the two of are heading out wide on the Great Barrier Reef to the known specks of sand Islets; could you please take a dozen or so of coconuts and mangrove roots with shrubs, to plant onto the high spots, of these Islets so that they grow and provide food and shelter for future sailors like you. Cheers stay safe. Apollo Bay Victoria.

I'm sorry but I have to say that Youngbloods is amazing, but I seriously think you two have eclipsed Youngbloods, all you Youngbloods viewers need to get into this and make it a proper living for Strick and Fran too, awesome. Wow! The underwater snorkeling shots are amazing. Thanks for just snorkeling and show your viewers what the reefs look like. The hard coral species is fantastic, not to mention the marine biodiversity. Clever putting the GoPro next to the anenome with SaddleBack Clownfish. This is a most epic trip to such amazingly beautiful part of the world. You really know which coral fish to harvest. They are delicious! Several questions: With all the coral fish you are eating how do you avoid ciguatera poisoning? Or getting stung by boxed jellyfish? Sitting in Sweden binge watching these getting a bit homesick. Glad to know I was not the only one on Google Maps trying to work out what islands they stopped off on (Forbes Island was one)..... and which rivers/creeks they were at when they were on the mainland. Pretty sure the river they got "fresh" water from at 03:08 was the Olive River (Yarraki - check out A River Some Where).

What a fantastic dream vacation/ expedition mate. Sharing this dream with Fran was an awesome addition that adds a lot to the success of your journey. You are deserving of such a fine young lady with all her experience and down to earth no worries attitude. She's just as lucky to tag along with you bad boy and I'm happy for both of you. I got hooked on the entire trip and it was as beautiful as it was educational. I live in S.E Florida and we have the Bahamas across the street practically and it's definitely beautiful but can't begin to compare with your waters. I've been living a similar life as yours over here and wouldn't change it for anything. My father exposed me to free diving at 6 and got my first gun at 12. Rest is history and I only wish I had a gopro back in the sixties when I started my awesome relationship with the Ocean. My father's line of work took us to live in quite a few different countries and continents but have yet to visit your little island. Thanks so much for the great videos, all the intel and your great experiences and adventures. The close call you had with one of your best friends really hit me hard as I was aslo the lucky one like he was to survive. I wouldn't be writing this if I had been my stubborn self and diving alone. Please tell Fran I enjoyed her recipes and watching her give you a run for your money in the water and on land. Hope you guy's always remain close. Over and out mate and keep living the dream lad. Back 2 Basics Rocks!

How very cool. What a way to catch some great adventures. The diminishing island looked a pucker moment there for a while, but that's what make them the best. I'll bet you talk about that wee boat for the rest of your lives as well. Be it good or bad, she let you have what looks like a great adventure and got you home. Truley, what an awesome way to spend a month or two. Would have traveled with solar panels on a hard top to power a small freezer for frozen veggies, butter and the like. To tell the truth, I'm quiet envious, I would have loved to do this and had the means, but no support from the other half. One of the most unadventurous persons l ever knew. Cool holiday.
