I actually like this one. Shows how different we all are. Meanwhile, I really disliked the Pinotage. I couldn't even finish it. But this one is ok. But I just judge on how it taste to me. This one I can drink without much thought. Cheers!

Varying tastes is what gives us so much variety in wines! Plus, some people are super tasters and get a whole array of aromas and flavors that non-super tasters just don't get. Isn't it fun to compare notes?

I would rather drink water than this wine. 😂 You were not harsh in your judging. We scored it 5. I think that was generous. The food didn’t help. Not one bit. Our flavor profile was very closed off. I guess you can say it was a very sad Elf on a Shelf. We threw away half of our glasses with no guilt whatsoever. Normally, wine does not go to waste in our house, but I wouldn’t even cook with this one. I gotta take a break before bottle 3 (ie, day 10). We will be back in 3-4 hours. 🍷🍷

You know what I love about this box is the no alcohol burn on any of them. I feel like all of the wines so far are drinkable. No alcohol burn, nice finishes, some grippy, some smooth. Ive enjoyed all of them being 2 glasses. I do think you were hard on this one. I tasted different but I enjoy your commentary and education 🍷

No alcohol burn is how it should be. If it burns there is something wrong - either balance or temperature - don't settle for the burn. If I get a hot (alcohol burn) red wine at a restaurant I will put ice in it to cool it down. I have no tolerance for burn in wine.

Hmmm, interesting 🤔 I definitely had a different experience. I found it quite aromatic and enjoyable, although it had a weak finish for sure. I disliked the French Merlot, this one I didn't have a problem finishing. I find it interesting how much variety can be found based on location. I definitely won't be buying any French Merlot, but I'm open minded on others.
