Nothing is like having family around the ending with your mom saying " I love him with all my heart" brought tears to my eyes 😭. I just had a flashback when my mom didn't want to go to the airport back in 2016 when I left the US to live and work abroad. Great video. Congrats on the promotion. 1st LT.

Congrats on the new apartment/assignment. I got a question for ya, me and a couple of soon to be LTs are thinking about living together. Do you know if we are allowed to do that and collect BAH? I heard from one source that it's not authorized, but I also heard that we can do that.

Jamie Richards Technically yeah. We get BAH which basic allowance for housing which will pretty much cover your rent for each month. Utilities too if you find a place that’s cheap

After BOLC I got stationed in South Korea for a year and once COVID hit they trapped us there. My home state became a restricted red state due to the virus so I couldn’t go home or be around people from that location
