I’m in my young adult life about to turn 21 I have no friends where I am and I’m nervous about my 21st birthday I always see girls getting together recording pouring up having a great time. I've been going to museums and cafes by myself, i still dont have the nerve to go eat by myself in a restaurant, but im getting there. despite this, i feel a little off mentally bc of family situations, but im going to therapy soon, so im trying to be hopeful

Mentally, I`m confused especially now, living in Kenya ; knowing that the youths are taking a stand on choosing what`s best for our future but at the same time so many lives have been lost in this fight. It`s sad they will not see the fruits but I can`t help but smile when I hear the word 'gen z' because we are a revolution .I love that for us . Know that you matter and your voice , work or even energy is enough to spark the change you crave. Peace, know you are loved.

friends for a “reason, season, or a lifetime”.. I’ve learned a lot from my college friendships.. both how they treated me and how I’m supposed to treat others… I’ve learned to not feel guilty of letting others go bc it’s not my responsibility and the most I could do for them is pray or support them through texting to give advice or check in and what not, but I no longer want to hang out and spend lots of time with them…. And post-college isn’t lonely for me I think of it as peaceful, until God places new people and experiences in my life.. I thank God for my maturity and growth this yr through prayer on my relationships and weekly self reflection.. and thank you for this beautiful video Jaida keep growing and doing you! 💕

Omg this is crazy - what you said at the end was literally what I have been saying and thinking!! It felt almost like I was watching myself from another perspective bc it's so spot on!! I myself I have been cutting off people, and going on solo dates a lot and it feels good actually, because i know the right people will come! And the traveling, new food, new experiences, new places & new people is what my soul is craving at this time, what I am coming into & being drawn to! which is why I've also felt not satisfied with some things, even the smallest thing like food (i am ofc greatful but there is a point being made) - My soul wants new and I am aligned with it finally but it took A LOT TO GET HERE... so watching this video, seeing u for the first time, makes me feel like this is a positive sign that others collectively are feeling this - and we are coming into alignment with those who are meant for us ! :) thank God honestly ♡ it's time ☆

Mentally, I’m all over the place. College is requiring me to be away from home, & be away from all the people, places, and things I know. I’m also terrified of failing, so I’m trying to have a positive outlook on everything!- But.. lots of my friends are staying in the area whereas I am not. People being ignorant is why it's hard for me to maintain friendships. I always call out harmful things and people get mad that I'm speaking on it or it triggers something in them that they don't want to work through. I'm always pushing myself to evolve and I always try to learn and educate myself and many people don't/won't. Like the incident that you had in the restaurant. People are so casually fatphobic that I even had to check people and even myself with the big back trend that's going on and people didn't like that. idk if its my ASD strong sense of justice/high empathy or whatever. Idk this world is so unnecessarily cruel. which is why I'm trying to build a wholesome/supportive community around me
