Having your own merch gacha is pretty cool and all the illustrations are so neat! I wish I could go to Japan and stop by there even if just for the gacha lol. I can understand taking some of your own stock for personal use cause we used to sell ice candies here at home years ago and we eat some of them haha

The Gacha machine is a great idea! Glad it works correctly now. As for New Zealand Marmite🇳🇿, I first tried it when I visited there in 2017 (a bed and breakfast in Dunedin offered it with their spread) and liked it so much I bought a jar to take home. It's both sweeter than UK Marmite and still has that umami characteristic, and it does remind me a bit of soy sauce. Now I prefer it and Vegemite to UK Marmite, though I like all three. It's certainly the one I'd recommend to anyone who hasn't tried that type of spread before.
@victoriabodenham6736 Жыл бұрын
Found this really interesting as I’m a big marmite eater but with uk marmite and pics peanut butter which is a New Zealand brand and has an unsalted one which is fab . Wasn’t overly keen on Vegemite , hits a different flavour profile for me and never tried New Zealand’s one might have to google availability of it in the UK and give it a try .
@oelise Жыл бұрын
That's interesting! I'm from NZ so I was brought up on marmite toast for brekkie, I feel like if you had a big dolup like Nutella it would be funky though so I wonder what the UK one tastes like? I find marmite is a very specific flavour but its really yummy in small quantities.
@LaPOLEA Жыл бұрын
No , English marmite the original is the best, it's not supposed to taste like soy sauce.
@LaPOLEA Жыл бұрын
@@oelise I never knew New Zealand had a version of marmite and that they call it marmite, as the English one is the original, it tastes like sharla said its strong and bitter and salty its delish.

My partner and I stayed at Neko Neko about a week ago and it was fantastic! We did one each of the gacha when we left. Got the Sensoji Maro and one of the chef cat pouches. Soo cute, I had no idea we got a rare one! I wish we could have gotten more but we didn't have much change left.We were in Japan for a little less than a month and the beds there were the only actually comfortable ones we had lol, even though we stayed at a few expensive places. So thanks for making such a nice place to stay! We also met Ushka briefly and she was super nice and helpful telling us where things were. Hope to be back in the future, it was great!

Maro & Tuna stamps! That is awesome! I love stationary items so much lol. I used to have a bright yellow wok I cooked in when I was a student (I was one of those weird students who actually cooked proper food LOL). Woks are so great to cook in! I recognized the Trader Joe’s bag, lol! Love the 😻gacha😻 and what a super idea; makes your inn even more of an attraction! I wonder if the extra coins were from 1 or 2 people trying to use it before you finished setting it up? All along I was wondering what would keep someone from just making off with the entire thing but kept telling myself it was safe because it was Japan so kinda relieved to see the final setup does seem more secure. Anyway, love it and if I ever make it to Japan I will definitely have this on my to do list. 🐈🐈⬛

Yea we only got back last week from our long awaited return to Japan, we stayed at Neko Neko for two nights and our son was overjoyed to discover the Gacha machine aswell as buying out all the coke zero from the vending machine (sorry about that). To anyone planning a trip to Japan try and book NekoNeko, the videos Sharla has posted dont even do the place justice it is awesome, fully stocked amenities, great location and much bigger than we exspected, plus a great entertainment system to relax after a long day exploring Tokyo. Already planning our next trip back in a few years but NekoNeko is on the top of out list of places to stay.

Fun in Japan again! Nice to see you tackling the gacha machine & solving the problems. I think I'd have resorted to a small hammer! English Marmite? I often suggest to my foreign friends that I send a jar to, "A very, very thin smear of Marmite on hot, buttered toast". It can often be far too salty if you use too much, especially if you're not an Anglophile. Always enjoy your content, thanks for the entertainment. Stay safe.
