Yes,they are. I had Delta Covid. Almost killed me. I am double vaxxed and took all the right meds. I beat the virus,but it went into both lungs. Had no symptoms of pneumonia that was in both lungs. My ER doc was amused I had no shortness of breath or anything. I fainted at work and still don't remember much of that day. It was awful. Grateful to be alive.

I have a respiratory therapist in my neighborhood. She is never visible. We see her car come home and go into her garage like the bat cave. I am so grateful to her for what she does and I'm guessing she must be exhausted. And that was before covid hit. My other neighbor is an ICU nurse. Thank you folks. All of you keep us alive.

This was really interesting to hear that anaesthetics makes you better at ICU. I'm a UK med student and I'm pretty set on anaesthetics as a career but have been wondering about doing some ICU too. It's definitely something I want to explore.

As an ICU or intensivist anesthesiologist, are you taking care of pediatric patients or just an adult in ICU?

When looking at research, which section do you read first? Are there any sections you disregard or do you read it’s entirety?
@RKMD4 жыл бұрын
I read everything. When I first delved into the literature as a med student, I had to do a lot of "homework" learning about different statistical techniques. I still have to do this from time to time, but it's important to understand! Finally, I think the methods section is the most important.
