Hey Dara, I just stumbled across your channel and seriously appreciate the insight you show what your life is like as a marketing director! I've just got out of the Air Force after 5 years, and I am contemplating on going back to school to get my degree in business with a concentration in marketing. From what I have researched, I really like the idea of marketing analysis/growth marketing, but also really like the work of product marketing manager's (helping a product team launch new products, enabling sales teams to sell that product). Any insight you may have on what I could explore further to learn more would be appreciated!

Good stuff Dara, good to see that WFH is still doable at the senior level. Quick question for you, have you made any changes to your creative testing strategy or is it still largely the same as the last video you did on it? I've been hearing a lot about Dynamic Creative being used more now, not sure what to think of it.

Thanks for watching! I love WFH, but I consider myself more "hybrid" since I go into the Thesis Studio a lot for shoots. And for the most part, the creative testing strategy is the same... however, I have been using DCT more on the sub $100K/month accounts.

Really humanising video Dara, enjoyed it a lot. I do have to say though...$10 coffee is not OK! I am about as far away from NY as can be so maybe that's normal, but still 😬. I think your full tutorial vids will always be more popular, as you'll draw in all the new media buyers learning the ropes for the first time and loving the content. But for all us long time viewers and more experienced media buyers that don't so much need those tutorials, I for one love the more up to date "deeper" vids that focus on creative that's working RIGHT NOW, whereas the newbies probably won't get as much out of it because they're not there yet. That's my opinion anyway 🙂. Im sure it will get repetitive doing "how I structure my account" videos after a while 😆

Hi Dara, im following up on this question. I have been using 180 day past purchasers exclusion and have noticed that 30 days is performing better for me. 180 days is becoming kinda too restrictive for Meta. The industry im talking about is skincare. Would love your opinion that would you exclude 180 days or 30 days. Would be grateful if you reply.

TBH I only do in-person meets for Thesis clients at the moment. But, if it was for consulting, I don't think I would charge more. Most of the time these in person meetings are for coffee/dinner so not like a presentation or anything.
