DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MED-SURG NURSE: GRWM, Pyxis tutorial., transfusion tips

Hi leah. I've gotten used to the epic system still it can be overwhelming sometimes. Where I work we have omnicell, and I have used pyxis before so between the two systems I have no preference for one or the other. Do you go off the pyxis for medication administration or do you write the meds down and then pull them? I picked up a shift at a rehab hospital that uses the pyxis and 2 of the meds did not show but it was on the computer.
