I am very curious to learn about emigrating to another country and steps you took with Japanese immigration to have status for work authorization and access to services (health insurance, property insurance, etc.). Was getting legal status difficult or are you limited living there for a certain number of years?

You need an external drive with ssd, upload from the slow SD card to that. It will be a whole lot faster for the editing software, which is slowed doing everything via your main drive.

I am very interested in relocating to Japan, I would like to live where it's safe and walkable to places and near public transportation as I am from New York. When I lived there it wasn't good at all! I worked as a Japanese contractor for an administrative position I made 800 yen and hour pretty much 8 an hour when I switch to the same positions but contracted by the American side I maked 12 USD an hour.

It might be easier to edit videos if you used a mouse instead of a touchpad. 🙂 And 4K videos are typically very large files.
