Hello, is a race car mechanic the same as an automotive mechanic in terms of education and how they fix and work on vehicles? But, racing mechanics being more geared to super vehicles and high performance engines? Like, do they do the same work? Can a race car mechanic do the same work as an automotive mechanic (gas mechanic and diesel mechanic) and work on auto vehicles? Because I am going to attend an institute here in my city and they offer race car mechanic, which I am greatly interested in, and automotive mechanics, diesel mechanics and industrial welding. thanx!

the only ones with the #2 mechanics morale is the guy who wants to be #2 and the rest are like "Oh great the cameras are here, we gotta do stuff we don't normally do". Yeh, it shows! are we ever gonna get to the engineering or what?

Are you dumb? Mechanics don't do "engineering", we build/repair cars, not design them. That means putting parts in etc., exactly what's being done here. All your comments under this video show your complete lack of any knowledge on the topic.

I just tried to get my wife to watch, and she loves racing, but even she thought... well I dunno what she thought, she just left the room at: 4:27 in the video (lol she picked a good number though 427 lol, yeah Chev) I said: "Love, come here and watch this video and tell me what you make of it, coz I don't get it" wheres todd and Rick?
