you think someone has neck pain could work in eye operating room without pain? I mean I experinece pain when I lean my head forward. do you often lean forward? eye surgeons don't need to lean forward as much as other surgeons I guess. am I right?

I'm doing the first year of my A level now and I'm looking toward the medical field. I really want to know how you become an ophthalmologist? Can an optometrist become an ophthalmologist? thank you
@tkegs64923 жыл бұрын
No. You need to do medicine to become an ophthalmologist. They’re medical doctors. Optometrists are not.
@belle3765 Жыл бұрын
An optometrist is not a doctor so they would have to go to medical school, complete 2 years of foundation training and then complete specialty training

Saw this video recently. Quite interesting. Do you usually perform 3 cataract surgeries per session? Or was the numbers reduced due to the pandemic?

The UK actually has a much safer healthcare system than the US. Also, this is a 7 min video, so he's not going to show you every detail. This patient has probably had several examinations in the run-up to their surgery.
