Stefanos has the maturity and wisdom of s player who’s been on the tour for 10 plus years. It’s not a surprise to see how much he’s improved over the last 2 years. The first time I saw him play at Wimbledon juniors I’ll admit I was not overly impressed however, watching one of his matches about a year later, I couldn’t believe I was watching the same player.

Stefanos, that was exhausting just watching you! I'll happily skip the ice bath but wouldn't mind that wonderful massage. Wearing those Aussie shorts might have been a sign of things to come. It is so unusual to see a one-handed backhand nowadays & how much I love watching it. It used to be much more common in the past but not any more unfortunately as it does give so many advantages. A pleasure to watch someone whose game isn't a carbon copy of other players.

A tennis player never looks ahead, only to the next match to be played, just one at a time. You'd literally go crazy if you looked ahead at the possibilities. You concentrate on what you'll be facing next & that is your only aim.
