I have a French Bulldog and he was so protective of me while pregnant and then when baby came he was so protective of the baby. When we had visitors he would sit by the cot in the front room and growl at anyone who came near. It took about 3 months for him to stop that.! He and my son who is 15 months are the best of friends they climb all over each other and its the best friendship I could have hoped for. :)

Dogs are so intelligent. Mila would have bonded with Amber when she was in your tummy. My lab that I had when I was pregnant would lay her head on my tummy everytime I sat down so she knew that there was something different. As soon as my child was born our dog had a good sniff and that was it. She would from then on make sure baby was ok as if it was her puppy. And the bond they had as my daughter grew was precious. Mila is such a gem. And of course baby Amber is beautiful. You guys are doing so well ❤❤❤ xxxxx

I had a black lab when I had my daughter, we did exactly what you guys did & the bond that grew between them was beautiful! He would know before she cried, he would lay by her pram when we were out & if people wanted to see the baby he would keep a close eye on them bless him! They became inseparable as my daughter grew up it’s just so lovely. Well done guys I love your channel x

If she is waking up more in the crib than when you cuddle her could you perhaps spray a little of your smell on her blanket or crib to help her feel close to you so you can nap? The first time I babysat my nephew he wouldn't settle so I got one of my sister's t-shirts and put it on my shoulder under his muslin and he settled straight away!
