The Wirral is a fascinating place to explore by train and on foot, with quite a few abandoned dock lines alongside the electric commuter network.
@Sim0nTrains2 жыл бұрын
Honestly Liverpool is a lovely place to explore, I did check around the old Liverpool Central Station and got a good photo from the car park, some of it is also belongs to Network Rail so Liverpool Central high level is still in railway use of sorts but just offices and car parks

Awesome video, Cyber! I spent a day riding on the 507s/508s last year and I'll be sorry to see them go. I had only ever seen the entrance to Liverpool Central that's in the shopping area so it's nice to see another side of that station too (even if people occasionally try to walk through your shot)!

Aigburgh? Sounds like you are wanting to say Edinburgh. LOL Aig buth! Even I know how to pronounce this one LOL Been to both anfield and Goodison park for away games. Looks like the stole seats from the away end as when I was at GP, they had wooden seats at the away end?
@Sim0nTrains2 жыл бұрын
LOL tried my best to pronounce that one, thanks Ametrine

Great vlog Simon. Nice exploring the Merseyrail network! It will be sad when the PEPS get withdrawn from service but at same time I’m excited for the 777 buzzy bees. I enjoyed watching as always.

A design that’s approaching 50 if you go by the prototype PEP still look modern ,the class 455/7 still have a class 508 trailer in the consist ,nice design better than the later 317 based units

I don't know when they will be introduced, however I read that the last Class 323 will be sent to Northern in May 2023, not 100% sure on that one but possibly will be later this year

Oh the Mersey, always looks epic with their class 507 & 508 units. Such a shame that by summer, they are getting withdrawn? A big shame as they are epic units to be riding on. Nice vlog of Merseyrail :-)

Merseyrail should reuse the Liverpool Loop railway which went through Gateacre to Aintree Central

I really want to see this network expanded and recognised for what it is. It's basically the 'Merseyside/Liverpool Metro' and should be treated as such.
