Ehehe, in Portugal we don't have Thanksgiving... only Black Friday. :)

hahaha! We sent over Black Friday to Europe, I suppose! Everywhere we've gone, we've seen Black Friday sales!

@@samandnick Yeah, it is a topic of debate in Europe. Of all thegood things we could have copied, we went with black friday! I am sure it is an awful thing also there, no?

@@AratjaUjotOurstories hahahaha - of all the good things to copy!! that makes me laugh so hard! At least you get some sales for a couple of days, good time to purchase! It is better now that a lot of purchasing can happen online, but 10 years ago, black friday was a real nightmare!

This seems to be such a charming place, I hope I can visit sometime in the future. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much!

It was amazing! Although both places were tough to see in one day, it's definitely a possibility!

Right!? We still can't get over how absolutely stunning Sintra was! Would love to go back in summer, although I think it's pretty touristy that time of year!

Next time you are in Sintra, I recommend climbing to the castle. It is an experience on its own. And free! :) Also check Quinta da Regaleira. Also very interesting. And try travesseiros in Piriquita guys! You missed my favorite part of Sintra :D Nice video! Cheers

Thank you THANK YOU so much for all the advice! I wish we had more time there and could have certainly spent multiple days in Sintra alone! I guess it just means we need to go back soon and check out all your recs! Thanks so much :)

Sintra used to be Portuguese royalty's summer retreat during summer due to the fact that it has a microclimate where it it's, on average about 10ºC colder than Lisbon, so if you have a 35ºC temperature in Lisbon, and you go to Sintra, you'll likely get 25ºC. It's like nature's AC, less than 30 clicks away from Lisbon. edit: Just watched the whole video and you mention the part of this fact on there. That was a cool video. If you ever come back to Sintra, you should dedicate at least a day to visit two places on there: Quinta da Regaleira (it's near the village center) and also Palácio de Monserrate, which is a little farther. I'm sure you will love them, considering you loved the Palace as well. There are also the ruins of the Moors castle near the Palace. There are lots of KZbin video on these 3 places. Have a good one!
