Keep it up Joe someone will write a book about you someday! Sharing your experience with us is great. It is a dying sport, especially trapping. You did a great job with this one. Maybe I am biased but memories are so important to me as well and I have hunted, fished & trapped since I was 7 or 8. (I am now in my 60s) Dad was so glad when I turned 10 so he could stop carrying my .410… haha. Dad was a RMaineMG for 54 years and worked 😮in the Rumford Mill for 43 years but always had the time for me. You sure are testing out the LE. I watch all your videos, God Bless and stay safe!

State of Maine needs to buy more land up there and make wildlife preserve’s and not cut it. Let it be used by the public for hunting fishing and outdoor activities. I hunted northern Vermont last year and they have land like that over there and it is beautiful. It was so nice to look at and enjoyable to walk through. All I could think of as I walked through their beautiful uncut wilderness was Maine needs to be doing more of this. Walking through the clear cuts in Maine is just like walking through a minefield. Your tripping over all the slash it is ripping up your boots and clothing, and it just is not that pretty to look at. I wish they would do more select cutting, and took the wildlife and landscape in consideration as much as they do profits.

for sure would love to see the deer yards protected for real too not just on paper.
@partridgepimp3363
@partridgepimp3363 Жыл бұрын
That’s for sure. The poor deer have to winter near towns and be dependent on people feeding them, because of lack of good habitat for them to yard in. It would help soil erosion as well, keeping the rivers and streams cleaner and more healthy for all the fish and other critters.

Awesome Joe! Loved when the game wardens showed up at your camp carnage camp ! I can just imagine what was going through their mind when they pulled in lol. I’m sure you have some really good trapping stories to tell. I could ride those back roads for days you just never know what you might see out there. There’s something to be said about being out there miles from every thing and all the hustle and bustle and rat race of life that we live in now. It’s the best place to clear your mind and recharge your soul. As always my friend awesome video can’t wait for the next one.

@@JoeHollandFishing I’m really hoping I can get up there this year! I have had a little rough go this past few months my cancer came back in my lungs had a couple little spots show up. But I think we have taken care of them with a few rounds of radiation therapy. Last fall I did a little adventures up around Rangeley area with my dogs found a nice set of waterfalls I was taking some pictures and my Great Dane hit my hand knocking my phone out of my hand bouncing off a rock and landing in a hole about two feet wide and four feet deep after about two hours and the help of a fisherman was able to get it for me and it still works! There’s more to the story I would love to share with you if we ever meet up sometime.
