insane process to take the headlight assembly out, like you said lol. in older GM truck its 2 bolts that can be turned by hand, so much easier. that truck next to this GM SUV is probably 10x easier to work on

True! I love my '06. As long as the frame holds up I'm keeping it.

Dude. Thanks. I needed this I just can’t pay $1,000 for a new headlight

You and me both brother. It's tedious getting it apart so take your time. Keep putting it back in the oven to keep it warm. Good luck!

Do you know what’s what on that board? I have an issue with my passenger side headlamp but it’s with the turn signal. There’s moisture in the assembly so I’m assuming it’s corroded too.
@HouseDoctorRay2 жыл бұрын
Could be corrosion inside the socket for the headlight bulb. Check out GMtruckclub.com. A lot of very helpful people on the forums.

PCB looks absolutely fine to me also how can you say without testing it? does not make sense to me, IDK how no one spotted it...

Going to attempt this now hope it works !! I have the same year & same light issue
@HouseDoctorRay2 жыл бұрын
I saw another one last week. Same side was out. Just weird. Just go slow taking the light apart. Keep putting it back in the oven as needed.

Yes but the fuel line may be different because mine is an XL.

Is it possible to just buy a new board?
@HouseDoctorRay8 ай бұрын
There are companies that will rebuild your light for you. I was not able to find the board, only the complete light.

You take the entire front clip off, and pull the light before advising to check the fuses at 3:40... Lol 😂 AHHH SHYT, IT'S A BAD FUSE! Now I gotta put everything back together 😢 😢😢😢

I'm surprised with all these things on the road there isn't an aftermarket option at a reasonable price.
