Daytrip to Catalina in a 16 ft boat

How was the crossing in your SE16 and how did it handle heading over there? About how long did it take you once you left Davies in Long Beach?

It was good, but I picked a really smooth day. For this boat size, wouldn’t want to do it if I had any doubt in the forecast. Took around an hour for the crossing.

is the outboard a 4 stroke, 90 hp? how many gallons it used one-way or round trip ?

It’s an ETEC 90 hp. Used 12 gallons round trip - usually get around 6 miles per gallon.
