For domestic dB , Is there any ruling in India related to lighting load ? Normally 6a MCB is used for lighting load. Can we use 16a MCB and connect more light load to save dB space for MCB ? Also how many 16a sockets can be connected to a MCB (16a or 32a) for kitchen socket points ? Is radial or ring type circuit better ? I could see in UK standards they use ring type for such sockets.

There is no such ruling, you can connect more light load to 16 amp mcb but i may not suggest that practise as for me i don't think any advantage in doing so. If one mcb trip, then so much of load will be switched off, also you need to increase the wire size in that case.
