So yeah I wanted to make a fun video but DBD is quite unplayable right now. I also decided to include a few clips from the last few streams so you see what we've been dealing with recently. I'm really devastated.

So that may be why, also cheaters aren't always as blatant as these, for example Jeff was trying to hide it, he did a shit job, but he tried. So if you are relatively new to the game you may not realize.

Technically it's not bannable on KZbin. I had to read through as much of KZbin's ToS as possible, but as of right now, it's perfectly fine for him to do that. I hate it as much as the next guy, but unfortunately KZbin allows this to happen. The worst part is, at least for the one game I watched him play, he seems to genuinely think that he is "outplaying" the survivors he goes against, despite having full aura reading at all times, faster action speeds, no stuns, etc. It's pretty cringe.

I've also had many games where the other survivor or survivors have done fuck all most of the game and the killer ends up letting me go (or kills me) because I was the only one doing something to progress the game. Even had a Wesker give me props once because just one of my chases was longer than the rest of the teams combined chases and I did that 3 times and I don't consider myself a great survivor 😂.... Man it's infuriating when you run a wesker for more than 5 minutes and only like 1 or 2 gens are done in that time and the rest of the match is the other survivors running around like headless chickens doing nothing. Had a game against onryo once where only 3 gens got done. All 3 were me. The other survivers were running around in chase or cleansing reguler totems but refused to do gens. I made it to end game and got the door open and got hit running out the door. On the bright side the survivers not doing anything saved me from getting hit with her no ed lmao. She said sorry at the end for how the others played. Like you know it's bad when even the killer apologizes on behalf of the other survivers...

I'm glad to know I'm not going crazy, at least. I've run into multiple subtle cheaters this last week and recorded the games to make sure I wasn't losing my mind. Good thing I was running Wraith's add on that lets you see generator progress, or I really would have been thrown for a loop. Heads-up, in addition to the usual insta-completing a generator, there's also a cheat that allows all generators to progress even if nobody is touching them. I had three survivors left, was chasing one of them, then 2 generators were completed during the chase (not terribly unusual), but then after I hooked, all three remaining gens were about 50% progressed. All in under 70 seconds for a chase. Literally impossible with 2 survivors alive to do that much gen progress.

I have played this game since 2017, on and off, but I only found maybe one cheater throughout that time. Last week, I got a sonic Dwight (got a notification in DbD saying that my report had been processed and validated) and a Legion with infinite power and no cooldown on missing attacks.

I've been getting a lot of subtle speed cheaters in my games as of late, killers and survivors who are slightly faster than normal. I normally don't like calling out cheats, because I could be wrong as some perks and add-ons increase speeds and I could just be looking incredibly poorly. The main issue was that the Bhvr devs once released a developer build of dbd with a patch by accident which advanced the power of cheaters by a huge margine because they had access to the developer consol which basically let's you spawn and manipulate anything. It could unfortunately be because the cheaters can rope innocent players into it as well, like the last few clips where Meg and Otz were forced to do stuff by the cheater. Cheaters could exploit impossible movement detection to get others banned for their own amusement.

There should be an option for when you DC to say why, and if you and your teammates say cheating, then it counteracts the DC penalty and if you're killer is you stay in the match for a certain number of minutes it should also lessen the DC penalty. The system now is just overly simple and games progressed past that system like 13 years ago. If only the devs cared.

The funny part is that bhvr posted in Reddit that they wanted votes for they labor of love nomination, and the funniest part is that the community was happy with that. I know that Otz doesn't like that we said bad things against others, but this community has the memory of a golden fish! This year we got possibly the worst chapter ever (tools of torment) with a terrible and unbalanced killer and terrible perks, then a chapter with a killer that nobody uses and the introduction of the infamous perk "MFT", plus we got the most annoying killer meta so fair with eruption, Call of brine and overcharge without mentioning the 3 gen "strategy", but because we got alien and chucky people are thinking that bhvr finally made a good job this year, but they are not!! solo q is a terrible experience right now, and according to their Q&A, it will be like this for another couple of years, that's inaceptable.

What really sucks is that if cheaters really are back for another wave of chaos, it'll be weeks/months before the worst of them are banned. An overwhelming amount of the cheats that show up all at once like this tend to come from a small handful of sources. The devs have to pinpoint the cheat buyers, creators/distrubutors, *and* develop the proper anticheat system and/or ban all of them at once. That takes a lot of time and planning. Remember last year when cheaters showed up in every streamer's lobby constantly by using their IP addresses and even in many of ours? They literally had an excel spreadsheet of DBD streamer info down to how they handled being stream sniped and if they waited out the game clock or not. It took BHVR 3-4 months to wipe those guys out and they did it all at once in a big ban wave. We might be in this for a while gamers. Maybe try another game or two. Really, it may not be fixed until Spring.

This hurts everyone, I had a game as killer where I got a bit lucky with finding survivors and as a result was I accused of wall hacks. When cheaters gets so common will players naturally get paranoid. I really hope Behaviour can set a stop to this.

@@SomersBugtopia that’s a fair point but there are many more issues that require the devs’ attention. they’ve been reworking old maps when there are sometimes unbalanced perks added, an increase in cheaters and exploiters, the occasional bugs appearing, etc. i feel like those should be prioritized more than they have been-at least in my opinion.

On top of all of these clips I'm 90% sure I spotted a subtle cheater in a match he played last week. He won the match, so I guess it doesn't matter as much, but he had a whole team slugged and was chasing the last person when someone stood up. In after game, there was no possible explanation from the whole team's perks, no unbreakable or soul guard, nothing. I tried asking how she did it but everyone kept telling me Unbreakable despite her not having it so I just dropped it.

And the person behind that 'spammed' something along the lines on 'you were outplayed by a bot...' into the chat. I understand you very well, I started doing videos about a game that isn't very famous but I find it very cool to play, when I started the channel I was just finding people that have fun with the game, you know, not being try hard, not being toxic, etc. But now when I enter in a server to make a video or just to have fun, I only find tryhards, toxic and hackers. It makes me want to quit that game tbh. Not only that, but the game is not in a well state, it has a lot of bugs and problems that make it really sad to play. I am not great at either side but do decent enough to about fit the intended 40/60 Surv to Killer win rate. I still get cheaters. The most common are subtle speedhacks Survs, and Killers that subtly give themselves Bloodlust 1 speed so you think it's something like Batteries Included. 9/10 times in my games, it's Survivors doing the hacking. I think it's mostly saltlords angry MFT got nerfed.

I played today with friends who haven't played in months (I usually play solo queue) and the games were absolutely miserable. We got paired with a killer who had 4k hours (collectively we have maybe 2k at most), a killer who literally bled me out and bmed me for getting a head on stun, etc. It's so disheartening not being able to play with fun builds (like head on) or getting paired with killers who are 100% guaranteed to stomp the survivors.

On the flipside, it's so unfun to get paired as a Killer with maybe 1k Hours against Survs with collectively 4k hours each and meta perks being carried by their items. Something has got to be done. I first noticed this shit around Masquerade and I knew there was a reason that after Masquerade I didn't wanna play as much. It's not me being bad, it's not even there being a mismatch. It's literally shit like this.

The fact this is what you get for being at/around the top of the game while also trying to do fun content for it, while also being a fog whisper and realistically a carotid artery for this game (content creator-wise, likely whether anyone likes it or not), I just feel bad for ya man. Rainbow Six was one of the most fun games I've played at a low level, and one of the most miserable, toxic experiences I've had in high level as I got better. Would recommend for a new player, but know what you're getting yourself into.

As someone who works mainly nightshifts and plays DBD between 3-6 a.m I can confidently say, that the cheater base is at an all time high. I report someone every other game and I get daily a notification, that actions have been taken for someone using exploits. I have played for several years now. I used to get super tilted and accuse almost everyone for cheating but I take it pretty chilled now. I just write GG and report whoever popped a solo gen in less than 20 sec or whatever. It's part of the game for me at this point. Especially since the MFT ( I took a 2 years break before it released so maybe longer) people who have subtle cheats are way more frequent and seeing the report feedback now proves that even further. Also cheaters at night also tend to go from subtle cheating to all in cheating as soon as they get cornered

I oddly enough had a cheater 2 days ago as well, they did things similar to this by holding the game hostage, for me it was whenever I picked someone up, they instantly wiggled off, and the cheater had buckle up for the people for whenever I downed someone, I luckily won that match but just find the consolation odd, could just also be a coincidence.

I didn't knew Tubarão was in DBD as well. Wtf? I know we have Trapper and Huntress in Rainbow Six, but Jesus, I need to buy him on Dead by Daylight. And yeah, it's a pretty good character, very good defender. His AR-50 is great. And for a little while it broke the game. Nowadays it's okay-ish. I've only encountered a single cheater for sure and I've played a bit over a year now. It was a Wraith with at least 5 perks. Other than that, if I've encountered any cheaters they were too subtle to know for sure. I guess we are both lucky.
