Is there any reason why trunks never wished anyone back from his Timeline, especially Gohan and the z fighters? I know piccolo died (probably being a meat shield again), but yajirobe is still around at this point, as he appears in the Goku black arc. Anyway, I know the earth Dragonball's are useless without piccolo/kami, but what about the namekian ones? Dende still exists as he should be in New namek as the frieza saga occurred. And since dende was friends with both krillin and Gohan during their time on namek, it should be an easy sell to get him to have parunga (namekian dragon whatever) to bring everyone back. Granted, Goku would be unable to return as he died in a natural fashion (the heart virus) here, but everyone else is fair game. Hell, chaiotzu wasn't shown dying, so he should still be fine as well. All that trunks would need to do is wish back everyone killed by the Androids. And since Gohan hadn't died before now, he should be fine. Yamcha and Tien should also not be a problem with the namekian Dragonballs as they were already wished back once already with the earth ones. And Tien at this point should be an even more potent threat considering he knows kaioken, the writers just forget about it. Not There's nothing to say all 4 wouldn't be training their asses off with king Kai while the androids are slacking off doing gods knows what. Nothing to say that Gohan wouldn't be wished back with his arm intact too. Where on Earth are characters like babbidi too? Now that I think about it, once trunks got his timeline erased in super, why in Earth didn't he wish everyone back? He clearly had the means in his new timeline since everyone in theory should be alive and well after getting resurrected again, since the Android's. They should also be stupidly strong for humans considering. Especially since it was literal DECADES that everyone had died. While Yamcha probably wouldn't have the motivation to be training that long, no way in hell Goku and Tien wouldn't be. Where are all the major characters in trunks new timeline anyway? Or are they all still dead?

You know I think I have a theory as to why 17 and 18 weren't given the ability to sense life energy my theory goes as such: Dr. Gero intentionally left out the ability to sense energy so that they wouldn't be able to sense Cell in the event that 17 and 18 were to somehow escape from him during their first eventual meet up and since 17 and 18 can't sense energy Cell would be able to sneak up on them completely unnoticed however due to 17 and 18 being half human they can get rid of this weakness by simply learning how to sense energy just like how Vegeta did and they can do this as (spoiler alert: Calvin don't read this part) in the Buu Saga it's been mentioned on multiple occasions by both 18 and Krillin that Krillin had taught 18 to sense energy among other techniques such as the Destructo Disk

Yet in the present, after the Androids are awakened, they seem to care very little about killing the Z Warriors (Only Android 16 is wanting to kill Goku), 17 seems more concerned about driving and enjoying life. They don't even attack the Z Warriors, the Z Warriors attack while the Androids defend themselves. Even after being attacked they only incapacitate them allowing Krillin to feed them senzu beans. Considering what they did to Gohan and attempted to do to Trunks, why would the Androids in the present leave the Z Warriors alive?

I believe its more in the present they had a goal that they never had. Goku was already dead by the time they woke up and with out a 16 they had no other goal but to mess about however they pleased. This could of either been thanks to the butterfly effect Trunks caused or because they got a taste for killing by the time they met the Z Fighters.

Goku's death in Trunks' timeline changed Gero's plans. Instead of making them stronger, he made them more cruel. The reason they're stronger in the new timeline Trunks created by coming back, Goku survived so Gero continued making them stronger at the expense of their cruel attitudes.

well there was a flaw with the idea of using the namekian dragon balls, i am not sure if kaiser and the gang forgot but in the original series I believe porunga said that as long as the person did not die of natural causes , they could be revived, and in this case goku would not have been revived since disease is a natural cause of death.

When they wished everyone killed by Cell back, apparently 17 was revived too. Supposedly, he just roamed the Earth and became a park ranger. I don't know if he had kids or not, but in GT, Dr. Wheelo and Dr. Gero fused the living 17, with the 17 created by Wheelo in Hell, and made Super 17. Who was pretty cool, but like Baby, and 90% of GT he was rushed and was done pretty lame.

There's also another unofficial rule of the Dragon Balls that I can't remember where it's stated, in an interview, etc. You can't wish someone back who dies of natural causes (Heart virus included) otherwise that same natural cause would take them the second they were brought back.

Guys, they couldn't wish Goku back even from New Namek because he died from a heart disease, which is a natural cause of death. Dragon Balls can only bring back people who died from an unnatural cause (like in an accident, or were murdered, or we turned into a smoothie by a giant green insectoid monster).

For those who don't know, Monty Oum was an animator for Rooster Teeth who created the extremely successful show RWBY and was a major influence on the direction of Red vs. Blue. unfortunately that's where my knowledge of Oum ends because I only discovered Rooster Teeth after his death but from what I can tell he was a genuinely goodhearted person.
