DC Rumor: Jon Kent De Age?! But Permanently?!

I heard about this rumor before and personally for me I am hoping really hoping they pull the trigger and give us back Jonathan Samuel Kent superboy back to his little 10 year old self because come on a lot of people myself included want Jonathan Samuel Kent superboy back to his little 10 year old self it could be fantastic and amazing, also a bonus having Jonathan Samuel Kent superboy meet Kathy aka beacon again would be really awesome and badass.

Let me be honest, I don't trust DC to not try some freaky-deeky questionable stuff with little boy Jon Kent. Not at all. The best thing I think they should do is reveal that current Jon, is Ultraman's son and Kid Jon is still captured or universe hopping trying to get home. Let them switch places and let Teen Jon be Superman of Eath 54 (like the studio) and let kid Jon be the prime Earth 1 Jon... but what do I know.

Agreed on all points especially that Conner is Superman’s son. FFS Superman had 0 qualms being Dick Grayson’s unofficial godfather. Superman leaving Chris Kent in the phantom zone was terrible as was letting Jon go off

And it kind of sucks that a lot of people just don't see that like honestly Superman is a horrible father

Turning him back to 10 years old will do nothing. He will still have the life experience he threw (like, can any of us say we would be exactly the same if we as adults, reverted back to our 10 year old selves) so he effectively will be a different character even if he does become a kid again. And whats more harming, is that apparently Sina Grace will be writing this. And we all know he will want to delve into jon growing up as a gay kid even if he is 10 years old. De aging does absolutely nothing to the problems jon has right now. Its either establish this 18 year old jon kent is a different version of jon, or it wont work.

@@CryptidZeker415 true that but you know just like they retconned so much history when they did the new 52 they could easily retcon all that nonsense that John can't experience out of you know history like okay he got the age but he doesn't have those memories or feelings anymore You know what I mean so it's easily to explain why he doesn't remember anymore magic That's it You know what I'm saying and then you just you just kind of leave it there You leave it there you know what I'm saying because you just can't keep going on with this gay Superman it just doesn't work The more they try to double down in it the more the audience rejected It might be great that some gay losers might cosplay him or whatever but when they trying to sell this to children you can't have that LGBT nonsense and I feel like you'll get more money targeting to children than you would targeting the LGBT community

@@dontemorgan1517 Well I think the thing about it is they're trying to test the waters because what they're going to probably do is try to do this whole thing that's like oh okay we made him gay and you guys didn't like him but with the age to me you didn't read it and it's just like no that doesn't make any sense we need to know if the d age is permanent not oh we're going to do it for gimmick to see if you guys really want it and if it doesn't sell then we'll just sit with the gay Superman but then you want to try to sell John Kent as a 10-year-old boy to children you can't have it both ways like I said you either pick a struggle out he's going to stay 10 and for kids or he's going to be 17 and gay forever and you're not going to be able to make sales you know You can't have it both ways and that's what they're trying to do they think they can do both and it's not going to work. But again just like the new 52 where they retcon majority of the characters history out you could easily retcon this nonsense out
