What a legend! His movement - the first five meters - the opposite were far away - and his tecnhcal skills - wow. My favorite of all times. Since Ajax-fan in early 1970. Since Netherland the same period. Cruyff was just outstanding.

He had a bust up with ajax management I think they didn't offer him contract which upset him very much and thus he went to rivals feynoord where young gullit was making a name for himself. Both made crazy combo they dominated the league and won the title. Never mess with the king who won titles for you. This is man here is the best thing ever happened to football. How he contributed as a player and coach is very inspiring ❤. Always in our memories #johancruiff❤️💙

I’ve been looking him up recently since I’m not old enough to have witnessed him play. But he has had a huge influence on one of my Idols Michael Laudrup and Barcelona and football in general that I felt compelled to look him up. What a player.
