Having a hell of a time trying to use the Mavericks in this mission. They keep hitting anything but the targets and I can’t see anything on the WPN screen in VR that looks like what I have locked up on the TGP. I see you are zooming out on the TGP, I’ll try that and maybe then use that as a reference on the WPN screen. Really glad you did the walkthrough, it’s always nice to have someone talk through the concepts and procedures.

Make sure you are boresighting your Mavericks. Without a boresight, the mavericks will not be looking at what your TGP is looking at when you target them with the TGP. To do this, follow the steps I went through at 40:51 .

​@@BogeyDope Thanks! I remember having the crosshairs blinking after hitting TMS up on the weapons screen and then I pressed the Boresight osb button but I may have Boresighted on the wrong thing because it still missed the target. I'll try it again soon, hopefully I'll get passed it this time.

Hey, sir, great video as always. I have a question so on my mission that revolve around another jet taking off or aircraft before I do, they're not moving or initializing to start to go around the runway so my number two can't take off.Is there a way to fix this?Or did I break something.

42:55 The fact that missiles, rockets or bombs get stopped by light vegetation / obstacles it´s extremelly frustrating. I hope they have a way of fixing that on the game. The speed in which you boresighted does Macks while doing the run was remarkable.

@@dimitri1154They should be white if the AA has been firing for some time, otherwise it would appear cold. This was discussed in the Groundpound sims discord and the dev noticed it too but said once they start shooting they should become white.

Sorry for the noob question but what are the brief audible alerts that happen from time to time when you’re not doing anything in the cockpit and the jet’s autopilot is taking you to your next steer point?

That is the RWR (Radar Warning Receiver). It's picking up radar signatures around the airspace and letting me know where they are .

This is probably a dumb noob question but are there any profile files that you can download to immediately establish all the proper key bindings for common specific equipment such as the Warthog stick and throttle combo kit?

Yep master arm on early a big no no...that said it's taught as muscle memory which most don't have in DCS so I got you turn it on! Shutdown is a reward...fan blades tinking as they spin down...helmet off cool air...relatively...and a cold beer!

I use the winwing f16 thorttle. My zoom in the TGP is delayed, it takes me a few spins to actually zoom in. Any ideas?

As always great content. Question: When I trim, even just a light tap whether pitch or roll the plane slowly continues, is this something that needs to be always adjusted? ( Winwing Mfssb base and grip )

@@JPsTechReviews That would be correct behavior then. It will need to be adjusted throughout the flight as the CG changes. Either with fuel (As you can see in my "Fuel Management" video where the jet actually rolls when fuel is used in different sections of the jet) or munitions being dropped, or even RPM changes in the engine. If you are at idle, you'll roll a little if you're trimmed for full mil rpm. So on decent, I pull the throttle back and just coast, and when I'm doing that, the jet will roll a bit in response. It's just something you'll continually need to adjust. If you don't want to, you can use the auto pilot roll "Att Hold" and that will usually keep it fairly still. Let me know if that helps.

The mission doesn't provide skins or any modules. It uses whatever you have. That's why every mission calls out all the modules you MUST have to play the mission. So if you have a custom skin for the cockpit or exterior, that's what's going to be used.

Can’t remember if it’s the Navy or Airforce but one of the two- as a matter of procedure- go “master arm on” when they fence in. I believe it’s the navy

Someone who claimed to be an F-18 pilot, commented on one of my videos a while back and told me that Master Arm is not to be placed on ARM until you are about to fire ("Treat it like a gun"). He said to treat it like a gun. I've never heard that, and asked him about procedures in a warzone as apposed to training, and he said it would depend on official procedures at the time. That being said, I've always heard Master Arm on when you Fence In, so that's what I do.

I heard Gonky and Mover say that in the Navy, they turn it on when fencing in. But, while in an Air Force jet, do as the airforce

I've noticed that when you get clearance for takeoff the tower gives you the wind and altimeter settings, but you don't adjust your altimeter. Why don't you set your altimeter? Great videos, I really enjoy watching and learning. Love your channel!
