As someone without Gemini and scrap, this bug form nerf sucks and makes it pretty much useless now. Considering it used to be free to use, 25% was bad enough. Now the supercharge is entirely useless. All they needed was a 30 second cool down. People can still spam pheromone bloom with 25% so why make bug form 50% lol

its good in situations where the whole group just took alot of dmg, say like the clock tower elite final boss with the drones dmg or the pool dmg. It isn't like instant heal recovery like a page proc but decent HOT's

I'd say it works best in fights you're knowledgeable of, preferably ones with not too overwhelming burst damage, for example using it preemptively before a big hit or something, otherwise it's kinda meh since it takes around half a sec for the actual first heal to land, meaning someone could die if they get bursted enough.

On test server I worked out the 'sc regen time (time to get to 100% sc)', for healer and wolf. Clearly for healer you stay in bug form only for 15 sec at most beacause of aweful power regen, given that it took approx 70 sec for my 305 character, that includes the new headmod, for me because you cannot guanetee that you can have the burst and heal bonuses in bug form, its now completely non viable, if you use a SC at all the only game in town is regeneration. For wolf for the sc regen time was about 2min, you saw that after 2 rotations of wolf form 30 sec apart sc was nearly 0, again not viable, I would suggest the only way wolf melee is going to work is replace 'return to human; with neo venom, and stay in wolf form. The big issue with gorilla, is if you die, and I do enough, you no longer have a staging 2500sc ranged wolf foem as a stepping stone for viable damage, so a couple of deaths within 2 mins and you are stuck in human form with really poor damage

The change is stupid. Why even have the forms. The sc cost doesn't make the change worth it. Nature wasn't over performing. My healer did better than nature. Celestial did better than nature too. I remember when the forms gave a constant benefit. Like bug form gave power back when you used a heal. These changes were unnecessary for nature users. The devs should address super speed then. Tanks use it to spam eye of the gemini in the same fashion. The dps also use it in almost every melee loadout.

Actually the change wasn't stupid. The forms were never ever meant or intended to be used as they are now. Wolf form was giving an additional 10% damage buff for 45 secs on top of the 2% crot buff in your helmet, plus the 35% buff when you transform. That is text book over performing by a mile. That meant when you put let's say 3 Dots down, went wolf, you got pretty much a 47% damage buff for roughly 45 seconds. No other power allows that to happen. Hell, people were criting 55 to 70k on the transformation alone with wolf if you were near an enemy. Now you can spam that with a SC that costs 25k? No, that's over performing to the fullest. You get a league run, 2 or 3 Nattys, pfft healer equips Harvest, pop it, the other 2 Nattys pop roar, STUPID NUMBERS. If your healer as Celes did better than Natty it's because of arts, augs and sps. The pheromone stack alone mechanics makes it very rare to out heal Natty. It certainly isn't common to see Celestial out heal Natty on a regular. The reason, as it should have been, Natty heal bug form giving back power when you used a heal was killed off because it damn near made runs easy, trolls irrelevant, and people impatient and just all went damn near Natty heal. You shouldn't have the luxury of doing 0 work when everyone else does work. This is why healers now have the highest power cost of all powers, so trolls are relevant, you have to work, no free spam heals and you have to actually think about what you're doing. This change was a long time in the making, how did you not see it coming? The SS spam Tanks use with Gemini is underway along with whirling dervish

The math alone that I explained that simply extending the cool down and raising DOT damage would have not been the simple solution. Read what I said in it’s entirety. Don’t read four or five lines and respond. There’s no arguing against the math. Extending the cool down would just cause people to get soul cloak up to 200 quickly, boom, there’s your work around and you still get to keep all your damage buff, crit buff and transformation burst damage from Wolf? They would have to nerf soul cloak as well and that’s not going to happen. The change was absolutely needed and it’s math at the end of the day the numbers were 4x of those that had a 200 Solar Amp on transformation
