I have often wondered why Illustrator didn't have a simpler way to create live symmetrical art! I mean, they've added Object > Repeat options now, but they aren't live (and they're limited).

You have such a soothing voice - lovely to listen to. A question … can you set up symmetry and then paste a group of lines from another document into one side that will then all be reflected (rather than drawing individual strokes like your examples)?
