I think that's what made bemani rhythm games different, they are aiming for early y2k to simplistic future themes, with giving real feel as a guitarist for GF, as a DJ for IIDX, as a dancer for DDR Or maybe it's on me.

this hurts me because the only arcade I knew on my city that had a ddr machine (a modded one but something was something) closed and this was the announcer that I thought was annoying cuz I play more ddr with extreme announcer but now i miss it 😿

As someone who also heard this announcer since his initial debut in DDRX, there are a number of lines missing in this list: One of the lines he says (and also my favorite) during danger zone is "aBuNaI!" Surprised it never show up here. He has lines he says after you choose a song. The new announcer says a number of these lines for World. I'll tell you, this announcer has more feeling saying those than the World announcer. He has a few more Japanese lines that never made it in this video: "iKUzo!" "oDOrou!" He even says the names of all of the DDR characters with two versions of each name. "Choose a character!" "Emi!" "Emiiiiii-" But as time passes, these lines were either phased out or never went outside the CS version. I don't blame you for not putting it in. It's just that it never saw the light of day after a while.

I may have missed it somewhere, but I didn't hear "You're gonna break the meter! Can't wait to see it." Honestly, I like this announcer's energy and corniness, but I can't stand the "We're dancin', we're singin..." lines during a song. They always throw me off.
