When you were doing the door you are getting paint transfer, you need to clean your pad. You should only see a light haze. That milky color is the paint from the roof being transferred to the door. Clean the pad 👍

Hey guys, I'm doing rockers and full floors in my 57. I can't find anything on finishing the seams on the rocker where it attaches to the body. Do you weld it up solid and grind or is it leaded and smoothed. Don't seem to be any videos covering that. Love your work.

Thinly using 600 to 1000 rpm for the first buff with the wool pad Then go faster when you use the waffle pad with the finish polish . This will take a bit more time but better results

How did this car escape the DD hood scoop treatment?

Buffing, the paint shines it, but makes raw. It, has to be protected, after buffing. A, high quality carnuba wax, will keep it looking that way for much longer. The whole car. Even the rough stuff. Protects, against the elements and doesn't turn white. I've, even buffed black plastic mirrors and trim, with it. Brings out the original color and holds up, to UV rays. USE, A CLEAN/NEW PAD.

Was told years ago Fisher Carriage Works did the tri-fives assembly and paint from firewall back and GM did motor,sheet metal and paint from firewall forward , ? came up one day as to why the primer from firewall back was not black like front fenders , Dont know how true it is but made sense , seeing the door sill plates always had Fisher Carriage Works on them ?
