LOL he said it's super easy. He has a God given talent of fabricating and customizing and he tells us it's super easy. If I tried half the things he does. I'd have a dumpster full of melted down-cut up-unrecognizable scrap metal. This young man is good and as he matures he will be a pro and saving rare machines that others thought were too far gone to do anything with. I thank the Lord that we have him and others like him to keep the dream and dreamer machines alive. Thanks bro.

Hey Dan I did exactly the same thing on my 66 Pontiac Parrisenne 4 door post. Only here in Australia they never imported the 2 door post model in those days, so parts were almost impossible to get. I had to use convertable doors then re-use the window frame off the old doors after I extended the window frame then weld them into the convertable doors. I sectioned all the stainless much the same as you. It was very satisfying when I finished it. That was about 4 years ago now and I'm pretty sure it's the only one in Australia or at least I've never hear or seen one to date.

It looks like a ton of work but you make it look easy. I have a 4 door 55 210 post. All rot free. 454 and a 4 speed. I built it with the intention to eventually change it to a 2 door. Real 2 doors cost a fortune on the west coast. Parts obviously are simpler to get here and once the pandemic allows the swap meets in the Phoenix area to reopen I am sure I can find some complete doors and maybe even some quarters. I am not sure I could do all the engineering you did to cut and fit the rear doors. To bad you are in Manitoba or i'd hire you to do the job. We see lots of winter visitor's from your neck of the woods in Mesa every year. Keep up the good work and video's.

Back in 61 - 63 my Dad had the very same 57 4dr, same color. I would leave it as a it is, they had to find up here in Michigan. Went to circle tracks or demo derbies. Dad still had that when I went in the army, when I came home on leave he had a road barge dodge, push button auto with a flathead 6. The vehicle I learned to drive on was a 57 1/2 ton chevy, 3 spd stick. Big change to a deuce and a half...
