Great to KDB back at it and Alvarez scoring again. Our attack looks good, but attacks win games defenses win titles and our defense is poor given our ambitions. Unless we tighten up at the back, no chance we win PL. I’m sorry but not being able to keep a clean sheet at home against Burnley is a sad indictment of our woeful defense. The league could come down to GD and currently, LFC is 5 ahead of us and if we lose out on GD, it’s gonna be down to Pep continuing to play Gvardiol as a LB and Walker so high up the pitch. Playing them like this has been the root of many goals conceded annd points dropped (Tot, CP, Chelsea to name a few) and it has to stop as the stakes are too high. Remember, if Girona win La Liga, and we don’t win the PL, we don’t get CL next season. Let that sink in. It’s a distinct possibility and a leaky defense increases the probability of that outcome. We are conceding 1.15 goals per game which puts us at >40 goals conceded in the PL. No team has won the PL in the last 10yrs having conceded over 36 goals…

Dad playing hype man tonight 😀 💪🏻 Was a great game to watch. Nice to see them playing so relaxed to produce their best skills. The speed & accuracy they were pinging those tight passes about was bonkers. Watched a bit of Chelsea after and it was like watching a different league with the quality of touch.

reminds me of erling community shield game against liverpool. give him at last 50 min getting his feet back. i think he wanted to more than his game times allowed too. it will be fine,love the team ,like i did last year. i miss gundogan, but the boys will fight

Alvarez needs to be more consistent if he wants to cement his spot in the first team. Having a good performance against burnley is good but he cannot afford to disappear or miss sitters for the next few games. Haaland and kdb are almost back to full fitness, he needs to really step it up in his consistency.
