On Christmas Eve, two brothers orchestrated a vicious murder. Sameena Imam was enjoying a secret affair with her Costco colleague Roger, whilst he was plotting her death. She thought they were in love, but he just wanted to shut her up.

Well that just shows how power-thirsty some men are to go out in the world looking for women that would submit completely for them and they would never get enough so they still hunting for submissive women who don't know any better. I'm not blaming Sameena for her murder, nothing justifies the taking of life but I do feel it necessary to say don't get involved in affairs. This is a very extreme example but these things never end well for any of the parties involved. You deserve someone who wants you and only you. If you are conflicted by feelings for more than one person take time to be alone and really think. Don't play with people's hearts keep your integrity

Absolutely. I’m not blaming her. But I feel that if she had just gotten out herself instead of trying to change the man she would still be here today. It’s too late for poor sameena but I’m thinking of how other women can avoid such a possible horrible situation. I know several women dating married men and want him to leave their wives. I tell them all the time to walk away and find someone who loves them enough to not have them in the other woman position. If the man snaps from the pressure or his wife finds out and snaps, blaming the other woman for their husband’s infidelity they possibly could be in a terrible situation. People are just too emotionally unhinged these days and a man who can’t even claim you is not worth risking your life over.

I commented something similar and people are raging that I'm "shaming a dead woman". I will openly shame homewrecking, ALWAYS, but it doesn't mean I agree with anyone being killed because of it. My advice is don't get involved with anyone you know is already involved with someone else, it never ends well, you're disrespecting yourself, and it's DANGEROUS - this case is one of THOUSANDS that end the exact same way. Being someone's side piece is not worth risking your life for. Have some self respect and find someone who only wants you.
@peach3117

i understand that youre not blaming it on her, but the question is very weird. if she had chosen to walk away, his fear of being exposed would still linger. it was the reason why he decided to kill her in the first place, it was his action that caused sameena's death, not her inaction.

And all this just so Roger can save face and keep the other two women from finding out what a slimebucket, a dirtbag which is what this man really is and I wouldn't even call him a man he's a coward! Too much of a coward to face the truth he has to result to murder to clean up his mess that he got himself into and getting his brother into this mess I mean who does that but of course his brother is no better if he can agree to helping to commit such a horrible crime as murder. I feel for her family so much, the holidays will never be the same for them again. Glad they were caught and prosecuted, but honestly there can be no real justice because Sameena is gone now. Great video Eleanor, as usual in depth coverage of backstory and awesome delivery of information. Always with utmost respect to the victims and their families. Happy to have found your channel!! It must depend on the kind of relationship you have with that person. You never know until you are in that situation.... It makes me remember the best friend of the kid who killed his parents to throw a party. After his friend confided to him about the murders and after he realized it was real.... He felt sad because he knew their friendship is over. They spent some time hanging out that night, they got a selfie... They both knew they weren't gonna see each other again. After that night, he went home and reported his friend to the police. I guess it's hard to imagine someone you know and love is capable of something horrific. As for the brother in this case... They are probably very similar, morally loose characters and they know that the other one is the same. This is why there was no doubt in joining him in crime. That was probably their relationship growing up, just doing smaller bad things together as children.

Any woman that dates a man, that's in a relationship, hoping he'll leave his partner is just plain wrong. Not to mention none too bright. Don't get me wrong, he's a dog. I just cannot abide a woman that chooses to be with a taken man. How many stories do we know where a man says he'll leave his partner to be with them. Men like that lie. It doesn't justify what he did. He's a monster. But girls, please wake up. Stop going after dogs that cheat on their women. Sometimes they're just cheaters, and they'll cheat on you too. Other times, they're like this animal.

I never understand these idiots that somehow believe that being labeled a murderer is better than being labeled a cheater? How does that make any logic sense?? I know they don’t plan on getting caught but even a minor amount of research would show them that 99% of the people that murder their partner because of an affair get caught! Even the ones that believe they are geniuses that would definitely outsmart the investigators normally get caught pretty quickly.

I think his reasoning behind the text would be that he knew their affair would come to light via texts read, maybe she told a friend (more than likely) plus to explain any of his belongings at her house as you said he was always there plus finger prints if the police did that. the comment section on this video is so disgusting. how can people blame the victim and not the idiot who decided to cheat on his girlfriend and murder one of his side chicks? You really don’t understand what lies that man could be telling Sameena and the other side chicks to stay with him. These type of relationships are really hard to get out of due to the person who’s cheating making up false promises and feeding lies as well. These type of evil people target the most vulnerable people to manipulate who just want a loving partner and it’s just so heartbreaking.

Majority of the comments I have seen were not nice but they did speak of reality. You cannot be with a man who is cheating on you and you KNOW this and then expect them to change. I do not condone what happened to her, in fact I'm so heartbroken because she didn't deserve to die. Although she is a victim of a very cowardly man who doesn't know how to keep it in his pants, let's not act she is all innocent either. Being involved with him was wrong and she knew it! She could have walked away and probably lived to see another day.

In cases of duo killers, there is usually a power imbalance to start with, either older/younger siblings, somebody more invested and easily manipulated in a relationship. With Hindley, she was by all accounts a completely different person before meeting Brady, but after meeting him and "falling in love" with him, she would do anything to keep him, including their horrific crimes. One partner usually starts out with the more violent "desires" and uses the partner to fantasise and eventually commit the crime, which then becomes a "bonding" experience in their minds. The same is true in the case of the Wests. Fred was already a violent r..ist when he met Rose who also had perversions of her own. She was most certainly he one pulling the strings in that relationship and while I don't doubt Fred would have ended up in prison without meeting Rose, I don't think they would have become the monsters they did together had they not met. These relationships are symbiotic, one is usually controlling and manipulative and "tests" their desires out on the partner who goes along because the risk of losing/upsetting the dominant partner is unthinkable to them, which feeds the desire of the dominant partner until something terrible happens. Sorry for the essay, I studied Criminal Psych at uni lol.

It’s truly awful what happened to Sameena. It’s clear they both had deep psychological problems. It’s such a shame cuz all of this could have been avoided if he never cheated and just remained faithful. Her continuous obsession with him while he was with someone was also mentally unhealthy for herself. I feel so bad for Roger’s wife. I can’t imagine the shock and betrayal she must’ve felt to find out your spouse was not seeing 1 but 2 other people, and then him and his brother plot to kill one of the women. I really hope she is doing ok, as well as the family of Sameena who didn’t deserve their daughter to be taken away from them so soon.
