Fuck dude, it seems that every new killer comes with a chase music that perfectly fits the killer's personality. Obviously it doesn't take a genius to see that but looking deeper into it is amazing The Hillbilly- Twangy. Rustic. Reckless. His chase music gives off the feeling of pure unbridled rage he's held in for years and now that he's able to express it, he can express that by inflicting pain onto others The Shape- Original Halloween chase theme from the first movie. The DBD twist to it gives you a feeling of immediate fear just by how expressive it is The Doctor- Starting from a soft buzz, The Doctor's chase music perfectly captures his power. The closer he gets, the more insane you go and the music grasps that feeling. You hear nothing but loud noises and metal clashing together. The Demogorgon- Its chase music captures the unknown vibe well. We don't really know where The Demogorgon came from, and the music sounds really cosmic and space itself is unknown. The Oni- Similar to The Hillbilly, but this rage is more "professional" in a sense. His rage is more organized and level headed because The Oni knows how to manipulate that rage to his advantage instead of lashing out uncontrollably. The Deathslinger- The Deathslinger's chase theme is my favorite because it doesn't really show anger, insanity or anything. To The Deathslinger, chasing people is a mere sport to him and he enjoys it. The chase theme itself, when playing as him, sounds like a power trip or something you can enjoy, but to a victim, it's the sound of inevitable death The Blight- Falling from grace, The Blight has hurt himself greatly in the experiments and became one of the things he wanted to cure. Now that he's become one of them, The Blight has become a failure in his studies and his chase theme sounds tragic enough. His theme is the sound of a self inflicted tragedy The Executioner: I don't know, really. I haven't played SH to really know what Pyramid Head is, but from what I've deduced, PH's theme is the sound of an upcoming eternal punishment and suffering The Twins- My 2nd favorite. The Twins' theme sounds more organized as well. Because she's protecting her brother, Charlotte will not stand for anyone hurting Viktor and the moment someone hurts her brother, Charlotte will not stop her pursuit in revenge against the person who hurt Viktor. I think all of these themes perfectly encapsulate the killer's true personalities/vibes. If you feel like I'm wrong about something, just let me know

I think Pyramid Head’s chase theme gives off the vibes of the guilt and punishment that motivates him to torment James Sunderland, as Pyramid Head is supposed to be James’s demon in a way. He represents the sins, and guilt of James’s actions (e.g. Murdering Mary, or at least I think it was Mary). In Silent Hill 2, most of the soundtrack tends to have this vibe of hard metal being smashed heavily, which is something that Pyramid Head’s chase theme kinda focuses on. His chase theme sounds a bit similar to the Twin Pyramid Head boss theme, "Betrayal", which also uses the mechanical vibes that his Dead by Daylight chase theme has. So, his chase theme should somewhat share the same vibes as Betrayal, but on a more intense scale.

In my eyes this has by far got to be one of the most disturbing chapters yet. I mean the more you think of it, your twin growing inside of your chest and the two of you going on a murderous rampage. Not to mention your twin looks like a child and the survivors can stomp on the child, I love the concept of the killer but it really messes with my brain from time to time. Now there are two sides to this track depending on what role you are on. On killer, you feel a sense of a true chase, as the percussion and the strings violently shatter the silence and you get an adrenaline pumping chase. As Survior on the other hand is different, the feeling of dread slowly picking up and the inevitable result of being found by 2 people. And as you are chased you finally get hit and you run as fast as you can, thats when the music stops, and you hear groaning and murmuring until you hear a shriek pierce the silence and you get downed. Fantastic chase music.

What really adds to this chase music is the dramatic audio cue you get when you are near victor during the chase. It’s like a loud horrific synth mixed with the chase, makes this all the more terrifying, cause not only are you dealing with conjoined twins, these two twins are efficient hunters. And that loud chime/synth when being near victor during a chase makes it utterly terrifying.

The most chasey of chase themes. It sounds like victors cry’s from track 3 which were alot more audible were turned into a rage in track 4 given their now a lot less audible over the angry sounding bass and running drums.

1:57 is still some of April's best work. Absolutely haunting. The rage you can feel in this theme. It's like Charlotte is channeling all the terrible shit she and her family went through and is going to make the people she hunts feel every bit of it.

This theme reminds me of Charlotte constantly being on the run with Victor’s corpse cradled close to her. It sounds like haste and a need to act fast. The dark heavy quality of the music feels like the pain and resentment she carries with her. How will she live another day in the cruel world she was brought into? But with Victor physically there, it keeps her moving forward. This is honestly a sorrowful but beautiful piece

I know that Viktor is Charlotte's twin brother, but I personally think that Viktor represent vengeance and malice that dwells within people, which somehow materialized, looking throught our chest, blocking the view of heart, seeking for joy...I don't even think of Charlotte as of some bad person that much.

Actually Charlotte nor Victor was bad, at least not from the beginning, they were product of the ignorance the villagers and citizens had. They created their own monsters by rejecting their mother and rejecting them trying to capture them. Maybe you can say Victor's rotten body inside of Charlotte represents how rotten she was on the inside by that moment.
