I really enjoy the videos you produce. The time taken to look at each part and explain the thought process before progressing is excellent. The new mic is working perfectly. Initially, I thought you were narrating the video during editing. It took a few minutes to realise that you were narrating whilst working. Look forward to the next one, keep up the good work 👍

I really like the way the British say, "the belt is perished". An American like James Condon says, "the gas line has become petrified". Both adequate descriptions that the gas line needs changed. James also checks the air filter, and changes it immediately if as he rubs it with his finger & little balls roll off.

23:37 you can also use a little bit of naphtha. Tho i wouldn't do this inside an enclosed space as that stuff is naaasty. The risk is well worth it, it dissolves any grime very fast and very well. Whenever i do maintenance on my bike, i take out the engine, and chuck basically everything else that's not rubber or fuel weak plastic in there and they come out clean as new. It does leave a white residue, but some water and a little bit of dish soap cleans it fast.

@BrendaEM17 күн бұрын
Up front, you do really excellent restorations, and I enjoy your channel. Subscribed. Though, I am not a fan of "Will it run?" for the sake of running the motor--just because other channels do it, if the motor parts may be damaged. I understand that somewhere along the process you must do enough forensics to decide to spend time and money on an engine--or not. Though, if you have a good cylinder block and questionably stuck rings, or carbon that has fallen off the piston--then it may damage the block--then I would rather not see the engine run until whatever steps the parts are needed to prevent the engine parts from getting damaged. Additionally, haven seen you flatten the deck using figure-8 motions, I wonder if there is a telescope laying around somewhere : )
