I know its an older video on your list Ron, but I stumbled on it today. Want to say I how glad I am to see you teaching your boy rite about hard work, clean living, respect, and the roots of America. Hats off to you sir.

It surprises no one that your son wanted to learn from working with his Dad during summer break months. Like Father, Like Son. Obviously you are proud of him, justifiably so. Many youths want to lie in bed, play video games and accomplish nothing during summer break. Summer break is simply a break from school, not a break from life or responsibilities or growing as an individual. It appears your son will also be a good, honest, sincere, respectful, trustworthy and hard-working gentleman - you and your Dad teach by example. You are raising a wonderful son/man. We need more role models like you.

Most kids today don't know what a good day of work is. Glad to see someone teaching their kids about hard work instead of letting them play games all day, getting in trouble, and just being lazy. Parenting done right. When I was his age I was pulling mainline, hooking chokers, and driving a log skidder in the woods. God bless you Ron and your family.

It's a blessing to see your son out of the truck helping instead of staying inside on a telephone or i-pad like so many are allowed to do. A good dad will teach/show his children by example and insist they pay attention and learn by doing. Build a strong work ethic and it will follow you always.

Not an edge-of-your-chair thriller, but interesting to see how it's done - and the story has a happy ending. Again I'm impressed with your high-tech equipment and the fact that it looks carefully maintained. Even if your son ends up in some other field of interest, the memories of working with his dad will be with him forever.

Awe, this reminds me when my brother would be out of school for the summer and he would go with my dad on trips. My father hauled steel. Then when he was old enough he ended up following in my dad's footsteps! I also went on a few trips with my brother. Instead of driving a truck I ended up being a bus driver! 😀

Amazing father figure! Teach your kids a trade and what hard work involves! My grandfather built his own machine shop, past it off to my dad and he showed me and my older brother "the ropes". Instead of getting worked up/mad when your kid did not shovel in the places you hoped, you explained why and in a calm voice! Well done! Father of the year is Ron Pratt!!

Ron as a former light med and repo operator and former wreckmaster certifed operator your videos bring back the best years of my life. I can feel through your videos your adrenaline and how your mind is working when you arrive on scene. Your ability to asses the situation and put into action a safe and thought out execution of each recovery. The best video was the MOSD one that hits home because it's why I left towing, I was hit on interstate 78 in NJ and nearly paralized because of a reckless driver. Please be careful out there, and May God always keep you safe. I wish all the best to you and your family both of them. Take Care Ron. #thethinyellowline #moveoverslowdown.

Yesterday i went out of town, for work we went down a road which is quicker than going the main road, we seen a coach lying on it,s side in a paddock, this was good encouragement to get there SAFE and Sound, better to be SAFE and get there in one piece! I guess a tow truck will have to recover the coach, i HOPE NO ONE WAS HURT!!

That brings back nice memories of going to work with my late dad back in the late 60's early 70's on his truck. Best times I ever had with him.

I hope he looks back one day and feels that way. I know I sure do. I worked along side my dad for years and still have the honor of doing so now. God bless.

Great to see another point of view from tow truck/ recovery companies. Love the videos! Noticed that other companies are starting to put their videos onto KZbin also and reference you as their inspiration... :) Keep up the great work!!!

Thank you!! It is always a moment of pride when one of my kids has a desire to be with me on the calls. Our daughter works in the office, her husband Talon drives and works with us and now my youngest has this same desire. Life doesn't get much better than being with family. God bless.

As usuall, so very inspiring seing the way you act with other people, and not the least, your son. The way you get your job done, is so very pro!, and by watching your videos, you have inspired me, to try to start my own company, pulling stumps up in peoples private gardens, for a start, with the pulley system.. Thank you, and god bless.

I've seen him riding along in your other videos. We finally got to see him at work. Good kid and more awesome dad. He didn't have to check his twitter/facebook/ or whatever that garbage is even once. Nice to see there are a few kids out there that won't turn into snowflakes. Kudos!

Words from Canada: Not only a heavy tow expert, but a special fother tyo yur son also! Kudos both of you! Nathan knows what real work is, so when times get tough he will not likely flag! That may also be well beyond both our times, but it does us good to see it! Nathan: you'/re lucky to have a father like that! all to many young people don't! Also you take well to it, that's to YOUR credit! Bruce M.

I felt identified, we need more dads like this and mine. As a rugrat, any school day off I was on duty. At the end the kid was so focus on the muddy shovel 🤣🤣🤣 trying to be clean and smooth. That was me, then my dad appears rushing me.

I'm proud of both my kids. My daughter is married and works with us. My son is still in high school, but loves going out on jobs with me. He hates going out on the interstate jobs, because I won't let him get out of the truck due to the dangers of being out on the interstate. He wants to be out there helping so bad. All in due time. Thanks for watching and God bless.

Only just found this channel and I'm hooked. As a truck driver in the UK it's interesting to see how the recovery business operates in your country.
