@@googIesux Not sure of what a Getty conference is, but are you suggesting that, if a solid minister of Word and Sacrament was to speak Gospel truth at an event that otherwise had only wokies who either hadn't quite figured out that the solid minister was not in their camp at all, or had invited him as a source of entertainment, with the intention of making fun of him and the (actual Biblical) Gospel, that the solid minister is compromised and being disobedient to Christ?

Platt is an example of a modern day Pharisee...with all the money grubbing and vindictiveness of the originals...but without the extended fringed prayer shawls and the enlarged philactories...but most certainly with the enlarged ego.

Love the content, but as an Evangelical of the radically conservative stripe, I have to say: if the ‘Protestant’ churches were more in line with us on active values, we would be quite a dynamo together. The most liberal church in my area is a Presbyterian one, proudly displaying their ‘Jesus wasn’t white’ etc, etc viewpoint.
