It breaks my heart see so many of my childhood heroes dying, then I looked in the mirror and realized I was no longer a young man and that my hair has more salt than pepper and I'm still wondering where did the years go. They were just here and weren't they?..... So long friends. It's so hard to let you go....

Just drives home how damn old I am. Most of these artists are only a decade or so older than me. To me, their stuff was new. Still feels that way. The style music they put out is hardly done today. I dont which is sadder. Their passing, or that their groundbreaking music is also passing into music history. 🙏

@hoosez I know how you feel. I am 63 and I am saddened to hear of these deaths. Especially because it seems like. All that great music and the real artists we were so fortunate enough to have listened to. Is just fastly slipping away and being forgotten. Music now... ? Well some of it is good. But mostly it's just crap! Artists today don't care about real music. It's all about their egos and instant gratification (IE: $$$$) now-a-days. It's really sad!

I just choked when Alan White came up. The only man, who could have replaced Bill Bruford, even though they had completely different styles, he played brilliantly, and was the firmament in a band that had many moving parts. He will be missed, by those of us who always say YES!!!

The golden age of music that would be of the 60s 70s and 80s that’s when musicians played real instruments and vocals came out of their mouths not by machines. It’s a beautiful time for everybody to grow up in. I only listen to this music because the new music is too program to computerized I just, cannot listen to lyrics anymore like they wrote decades ago Rest in peace to all who are passing away, but their music is ingrained in our minds forever ♥️🎶

Rest well Rockers, I grew up listening to all the great songs these men created and they formed my desire to play guitar and rock out. I just turned 69 and I was there through all the great bands, all the great songs from the 60's on. I'm getting up there in age now and I am so focused on getting better on guitar, I've spent thousand building up my guitar collection and I am bound and determined to master guitar and truly rock out!! God has you now gentlemen, rest well.

So many of those guys were heard on classic rock radio for those of us who were born in the early 70s and earlier. We grew up to so many of these people. Some how I think they are getting the better deal. If heaven is supposed to be aparadise, then they win. While we're stuck in this hell hole they call the 21st century...........I really wish we could forever go back to the 70s and 80s. Life was much simpler and.more fun back then.
