Having known Burke Shelley on a personal level, he was a very gentle soul and he taught me a great deal about playing bass. One thing has always stuck with me. It was a pearl of wisdom, I have an allergy to nickel and the tips of my fingers would split and bleed. Talking about it with Burke one day and his answer was just put some superglue on the broken skin and keep playing. Thank you my friend ❤️

The golden age of music that would be of the 60s 70s and 80s that’s when musicians played real instruments and vocals came out of their mouths not by machines. It’s a beautiful time for everybody to grow up in. So many of those guys were heard on classic rock radio for those of us who were born in the early 70s and earlier. We grew up to so many of these people. Some how I think they are getting the better deal. If heaven is supposed to be aparadise, then they win. While we're stuck in this hell hole they call the 21st century...........I really wish we could forever go back to the 70s and 80s. Life was much simpler and.more fun back then.

It’s very saddening. But ,at least their music will LIVE FOREVER 👍👍😊 And it’s good to see that a lot of young people appreciate the oldies 😎 I’m 65, and my grandkids like a lot of the classics. Grandson is in band,and lots of the kids play 60s & 70s rock. 🙂 who would have thought.

Don’t know why but it’s always seemed like stars really do belong to us. So much so that they just seem invincible. All the sadder when they have to die & leave us. The good side of that is that we’ll always have the music. Even though we didn’t write it. They also even make us feel that we did!!! RIP !!!
