My question whould be...why would the comprising of the biblical text exclude books such as the book of Enoch to be less canonical as that of the pentateuch or any biblical canonized books 📚

The Old Testament canon is certainly a question of ongoing debate; I'm not an expert on the ins and outs of this topic, but I understand Luther sided with Jerome's decision to stick with the Hebrew text as authoritative, and he consider the Deuterocanonical texts as valuable but not definitively inspired. The Roman Catholic and Eastern Orthodox canons include additional books found in the Septuagint. The Dead Sea Scrolls unfortunately do not contain a list of OT works; they also include many non-Biblical texts; and among them are missing a book from the Hebrew canon (Esther) and from the Septuagint canon (e.g. 1-4 Maccabees). Thus it is difficult to determine from the Dead Sea Scrolls finding what they consider to be the authoritative canon (as well as if their views might have reflected the general sense of the canon at this period of time).

No coincedence that ISAIAH was found complete and readable. It pretty much tells the whole story and has holds the key of David, the hidden treasure, AND our endtime events and who is who. If there is one book in the OT I tell people to study in hebrrw, its ISAIAH.

I'd like to know how they store the original Isaiah scroll. The original of the copy of the one at the museum in Israel. And that picture of that guy smoking while reviewing the scrolls was funny.

Hi Jdaze1 - yes, the cigarette looks about to drop. It seems the standards of care for the manuscripts has certainly increased since that time!

I hope that very soon the complete scroll of Enoch will be revealed that was in the cave.. What a blessing it is. It is the first record of the instruction from heaven given to Enoch and then in turn he declared to men. Please read chapter 3 of the book of Jasper. And one more witness shed light on Enoch is wisdom of Solomon chapter 4:10-15. He was chosen from among his brothers before the destruction of the world in Noah's days. Blessings my brother.
