Love the review - bought this as exactly that - a 22LR suppressor that also works on 9mm. Thank you for addressing the concern that 22LR will foul it up. Based on the way people talk, it will be gummed up and unusable and unclean-able after using it with 22LR. Looking forward to shooting it with my Ruger MKIV and Walther PDP. How many baffles do you use on it with a 22LR? Thanks again for the great review!

I also bought this as my first silencer, I love it but if I could go back it would not be my first one, what do you use to clean it after you shot 22lr out of it? I'm looking at getting a 22 and I wanna know whats worked for other peoples odessa-9s

Honestly, I haven’t cleaned it

Most underrated 9mm can on the market. It fully suppresses with QUALITY 9mm subsonic SPECIFIC ammo and a 5” pistol (Beretta 92) gets just a smidge louder with a Glock 19 length. Also staple gun quiet with an 8” 9mm pcc…It’s only 10 oz full length and 6.5 oz at 5 baffles and 5.2 inches long (same as mask and switchback) it suppresses .22 subs almost equally as well out of a longer .22 pistol barrel. Haven’t tested on a short handgun .22 yet.

Can I use the piston mount that comes with it on a .22lr pistol? Don’t feel like buying a direct thread mount

Yeah….. I did

I have one, you certainly can, you’ll just need to clean the piston system more regularly. Although heavier than with the direct thread mount they sell for it which I also have, I’ve found that it’s quieter with the piston system in it! At least with 9mm. I throw it on my PCC upper with no issues as well and just use direct thread for .22 which is so damn dirty.

@@dasboot9471 it’s super quiet on my ruger mark 4. But still loud on the longer barrel 22lr

Your original review video of this was much better IMO.
