This is the later, and somewhat less energetic version of the band. Crispy (guitar/vox) basically had to steal the show on presence/antics.

I got into hardcore around 1987 in Bradenton. These gents, along with BP, Ravage, and Blemish on Society, were local legends. What really takes me back is the lack of all that punk fashion. It looked cool on GBH, but the kids introducing me to Black Flag were riding skateboards and wearing jeans and Vans. This had a deep impression on me because nobody walked around saying, “I’m punk” or “this is punk.” You just found your people and did your thing. Thanks for the time travel.

1990s hardcore! Such fun times at all the varied shows. Here it is, 2019 and I'm looking through "War Paint" fanzine (Mike Ski), "War on Illusion" fan zine (Porcell), and some others from the mid 90s, "Knotwork", "Voicebox" , "Tirade" etc. Plus boxes and boxes of half size and smaller 'perzines.'. LOL, memories memories!!!

Amazing stuff, one of my favourite bands ever. By the way, if you like this check early today is the day, it's somewhat similar but with a much darker and fucked up vibe. Late today is the day is very different though.

Yes, I agree. I do the same thing with movies, too. If I go see a movie and don't like it, I demand that the production company changes the movie to something I like, regardless of what the writers and director want. It is incumbent upon everyone exhibiting artistic expression to cater to my every want and need.
