While I suspect the Ciaphas Cain art is a sort of 4th wall break by being his Imperial propaganda imagery, I also wonder if it’s not really that far off: -Cain played scrumball, a contact sport akin to rugby -He is a natural athlete who excels in Swordsmanship and marksmanship - He is a stud who banged tons of grimdark hotties before committing to Amberley -He has had many rejuvenation treatments, which for a frontline hero quite possibly include testosterone and other strength and conditioning hormones and chems - He was constantly impressing his allies and enemies with his prowess and skills - He gets puffed after subjectively short runs: suggesting he is more of a buff man than lean cardio type (not to mention all the amasec and salt grox) Cain consistently undersells himself but tries to keep up the facade of a dashing, buff man of action. I think he probably kept in shape as part of his chameleonic character.
