Really moved by the video opener. Truly. I admire Jon M. Chu and the way he views his own path, as well as the path to Oz and the yellow brick road. One interview he did recently with CBS had me weepy. He just has really wide, insightful views on this path to Oz. What a journey. Thank you for sharing this interview with all of us.

That detail about the live piano when Cynthia begins singing Defying Gravity is so interesting. I was wondering why it really stood out on its own in this movie other than just the pauses and I'm sure that live piano to start it off is part of what made it amazing. This movie is directed so well because of genius little choices like that.
