Deadpool is the pinnacle of anticipation for me for 2024, it is on par with IW and Endgame for me. Venom is just goofy fun, and Joker honestly is mehhh.

Im WAY more hyped for Deadpool 3 than any other Marvel property so far since im a mutant thru and thru. I need to see Jean, Storm, and other omega levels finally portrayed correctly, and itll be the first step if not first time wed be seeing anything worthwhile after that first set of movies.

Either way we know they're only gone for a hiatus to let other plots or characters develop. It'll be interesting to see how they handle Cassie in general since the Ant people have the same gimmick but she's not as intelligent as other heroes. I don't see her place except with Ironheart and the Champions or whatever, not the Young Avengers unless Kamala and Kate hit her up next

I'm so confused by the "they don't want to do any other movie so we can't leave them in the quantum realm" concept. You don't need to do a 4th ant man movie to show how they escape, that's what secret wars is for. And it's less an escape and more kidnapped to fight in battle world. Unless antman and the wasp are not going to be in Kang dynasty or secret wars? Which does not seem likely.

I don't know if it'll be that obvious since it'll be a musical. That's gonna split their fanbase, and not a single macho dude who wants something gritty will sit thru it let alone go try it at all. I expect a lot of walk outs if it's even half as Broadway as i suspect. Meanwhile V3 should be easy if they stick to the critical issues of the last one. I mean, what even was that Carnage design or vfx? Crazy

I rather enjoyed the first joker movie of this iteration. But I will not be going to the theater anytime soon to watch a sequel of that that is made into a musical. I don't understand what the thinking was there at all.... As for Venom 3, I would need to see a bit of trailer footage and would only really be interested if there is any connection to spider man in it.... Otherwise, they are all as good as stream-worthy at best

There's zero chance Netflix continues the Snyderverse because the Snyderverse isn't an IP to be bought or sold. Its just DC and their movie rights aren't for sale because WB just created DC studios, they have a ton of projects in development and Zaslav said that DC is WB's most valuable IP so they're not selling the movies rights. Also, is Zaslav wants to sell WB soon, he needs the DC movie rights to be a part of the deal or it'll tank the value of WB. The only way it could ever happen is if Netflix buys WB from Discovery but they don't have the money for that so its impossible. The only reason Snyder and that Netflix executive are even bringing this up is because the reviews for Rebel Moon are mixed, there's no intrest behind it and it'll be embarrassing for them if its a flop on Netflix, a streaming service. Trying to bring in the Snyder cult is their only chance to make Rebel Moon successful but they're too small of a group and they have zero interest in Snyder's work outside of the Snyderverse.

If someone doesn't care about the fight scenes and expects more elevated animation, i could see it being pretty mediocre. Their style is "simply bold and clear design choices" so the story can breathe, whereas other studios might go with a more simple story so the animation can say more.

Super heroes aren't a genre, its a medium for storytelling because it incorporates ever genre and Transformers can fit under the super hero umbrella. Also, super hero fatigue is real but its just because people are fatigued with formulaic, mediocre and bland super hero movies. Good super her movies with good stories about compelling characters are still successful, look at Spiderverse and Guardians 3. Marvel has contributed to thia fatigue by putting out a lot of bad movies and TV shows recently but DC and Sony have been the main culprits because most of their movies have been horrible.

Don't defend Gunn with his nepo bs. There are hundreds and hundreds of actors and actresses in Hollywood who just got out of school, and will wait a long time to get a job just because Gunn likes working with wife and his brother. Come on. Am I saying his brother is horrible? No...but as head of DC he should be concerned with the success of the brand and making the best product he can. Venom 3: We were left on a cliffhanger for the symbiote and for what happened to Venom and Eddy. Connection to Spider-man, one of the most popular superheroes, and the MCU boosts it. Joker 2: Not really a cliffhanger, could have just been a one-off. The general public has seen a couple of pictures of Joker 2, from a year ago.
