I think rather more the issue is that there’s so much extent that can be used with the multiverse as a concept, but every film that’s tackled it so far has felt painfully underwhelming with how much is explored. I know not every film with the multiverse can be an Avengers level of quality, but there can be a lot done with bringing back deceased character variants when needed and of course setup for the big crossovers with world building and general character lore. People got tired of the constant origin stories because it felt tried and true, but the multiverse films just haven’t reached their full potential after numerous tries.

I genuinely think comic book movies would’ve lasted a longer time after MCU Phase Three ended if they didn’t milk this concept into oblivion. Guess what. The first Spider-Verse movie wasn’t good because it was about the multiverse or pioneered the concept of the multiverse. It was good because it was written like a movie instead of a CGI football game featuring characters from every other non MCU related Marvel property.

The Sonic Movies, Breaking Bad, or John Wick don’t even used the Multiverse as a concept. They’re just trying to be a franchise by having spin offs & sequels. As for the multiverse movies… the multiverse movies that you have problems with are just the Marvel & DC films. Not the concept as a whole. Multiverse stories have always been a thing, but Marvel & DC are just using it are nostalgia purposes and less about crossover purposes.

@ Because the plot is riddled with nonsense. Theres so many issues just in the first few minutes of the show. Why did Loki teleport to a random desert on Earth? Why did he decide to open a portal in the air? Why didn’t Loki use any of his powers, mischief, trickery, etc when the TVA agents were attacking him? We’ve seen this version of Loki fight Captain America and Thor and gave them a run for their money. He’s a complete dumbass for plot sake. Why weren’t the 2023 Avengers that went back in time taken by the TVA? The Avengers created a branched timeline by taking a stone out of it and changing events that were supposed to happen?

This one shouldn't even be an issue. 2. He did try to assume control but the TVA just immediately restrained him with their tech. 3. This was literally stated in the show! Ravonna says what they did was supposed to happen.

Deadpool and Wolverine was great. How I probably would rank them would be: 1. Deadpool 2 2. Deadpool and Wolverine 3. Deadpool Has the multiverse run its course a bit? Yeah With the exception of Spider-Man No Way Home Loki S1 and S2. So far, the only stuff we have left for the Multiverse Saga that involves the Multiverse is: What If Season 3 (it's also confirmed to be the final season.) The Fantastic Four: First Steps (since the movie takes place in a universe where they are the only superhero's.) Avengers Doomsday and Secret Wars

multiverse saga for sure has some bad/mid projects, but i dont really blame the multiverse as a concept on that. bad (rushed is probably better word choice) writing will make any storytelling device look like shit. obviously covid disrupted the entire industry, but marvel should have taken time to hunker down and make a meaningful story using the multiverse as a literary device instead of taking the easy route and pumping out movies to justify a nostalgia based cameo. id say hindsights 20/20, but people have been saying this for years at this point. i want to see the multiverse continue on but just as a part of the universe. people talk about it, occasionally it might be part of a story for a character, but not in the limelight or the focus for the mcu. id really hate for secret wars to be the last time we hear about the multiverse. wouldnt mind a break for a bit though

@ He randomly decided he wanted to join the Avengers despite creating X-Force(which he went back in time to save them from dying) but for some reason DP said that they all died? Even if he didn’t time travel to save them, he still had Cable and Domino in X-Force. But because he got rejected from being an Avenger he randomly decided to stop being DP? He literally has X-Force and he’s also a mercenary for hire. He also purposefully got 2 innocent people killed who were HELPING him. They didn’t make Logan’s ending better at all. He sacrifice didn’t work because his death unknowingly started the destruction of the universe and X-23’s great ending was cut short by the TVA.

@spectre1004 He wanted to join the Avengers cuz he wanted that recognition that they had & wanted to mean smtg. It was purely selfish & in character for DP. Getting rejected got him very disheartened knowing he wouldn't make it to the big leagues. The movie ends with him realizing he doesn't need to join the Avengers to be acknowledged as a proper hero. As for Logan, that universe ending thing is tied to the "anchor being" concept (which I don't like at all). It's moreso commentary on how the Foxverse started dying after Hugh left. And Laura in the film does say she got to live a life cuz of him.

@ It wasn’t at all in-character for him to join the avengers. He already didn’t like the X-Men so I doubt he’d want to join the Avengers. He also already had a team and had plenty of people around him who cared from him. THAT WAS THE WHOLE POINT OF DEADPOOL 2. It doesn’t make sense at all for him to randomly try to join the Avengers. And if he was so hurt by being rejected, why didn’t he just go to a different universe where the avengers exist? It doesn’t make sense for him to be super disheartened to the point of not being DP anymore. We can agree tho that the Archor being stuff is complete nonsense. Well Laura BARELY got to have a life because of the TVA. She had maybe like 8 years of freedom until the TVA had to fuck things up. She barely got to live life. The film also decided that Logan(2017) and the Deadpool films are connected which is incorrect on the films part. Deadpool 3 takes place in 2024, Logan takes place in 2029. Logan should still be alive right now. So Laura shouldn’t have even had 8 years of freedom.

The flash is not bad but average. I'm quite shocked when the flash is not bad movie. Flash character was flesh out better in this movie than deadpool vs wolverine. The only bad thing is ezra Miller, if they swap with other actor, it might turning into good movie as long as they use reverse flash
