I saw deafhaven live and they were incredible. There are some bad quality videos on youtube and I think hearing the board sound is not the way to listen to deafheaven. Their room sound is like the albums, everything mixed into a huge wall of sound. And i thought Georges mannerisms were weird when I first saw this video years ago but seeing him live in person is an intense experience. Its like hes gazing into your soul and playing with you while screaming his heart out

I saw them live a few years ago when they toured with between the buried and me in a small tight venue Amazing show. I knew nothing of them beforehand but have been a fan since that day They really are a fun live act.

usually means the sounds of the album are hard to reproduce in a live enviroment. Same as the famous album SG.Peppers and the lonely hearts club by the Beatles. Wich the beatles have in my memory not played a single song live off. That album required a full orchestra to be played full. And now u woulnt see The Beatles sucks now would we :) I know u enjoy ur standard heavy metal live music where u can bang ur head on a repetitive beat that doesnt have progression. But to enjoy music doesnt require u to dance to it, or move ur head to the beat. U can enjoy live music by just closing ur eyes and enjoying the experience.
