I only just realized it, but Ford saying that the unicorn hair can only be obtained by a creature with a pure heart implies that he fell for the unicorn's scam before, which I just find funny.

Yes. That's why he found them frustrating: he thought they were good creatures, and just wanted some of their hair, but they refused because "person of pure heart" yadayadayada, so he accepted it and didn't want to take it by force. Cause, come on! Attacking unicorns? Those creatures that represent everything good in this world? Come on! XD

I have always loved the unicorn episode with a passion such a twist from wha you would expect from a unicorn episode like the unicorns being assholes😂, from the humor with the women to the unicorns voice💀 and the history of bill and ford. I always quote the Wendy during this episode when she gives her legendary speech when wanting to go the violent way against the unicorns😂

I think that the baby shown in the flashback in 'A Tale of Two Stans' was originally meant to be Shermie, the kids' grandfather. But then people realised that the maths doesn't work out well, which the showrunners didn't realise until after releasing the episode (the flashback occurs 40 years prior to the present day in the show, so that baby would only be about 28 when Dipper and Mabel were born) so it has been headcanoned that Shermie is Stan and Ford's older brother, and the baby is Shermie's child, aka likely Dipper and Mabel's father.

You should watch Inside Job, it's made for adults but it's similar with the mystery elements and is made by some of the gravity falls people. Or I would recommend Danny Phantom that show has some of the funniest one-liners!

Lil gideon has that torn page in journal 2 and according to ford journal 2 is the most dangerous for it contains spells, dark magic, and magical items like the amulet he had when he got first introduced, and journal 2 also states that by using the amulet the user hair will turn white, and will lose his/her sanity.
