Saw a 7 man box 7 out of 10 ball games. Adding this video to the toolbox as we into the spring. Your Pistol 2 Back/H-back formation will be our base formation. Appreciate it Coach Max....

Opposite of "dealing with bear front". When running the bear front, where do you play your LBs in the bear front? 20s 3yds? Depth and alignment.

We play mostly man free with ours, but traditionally more 30-40 and heels at 5 for me.

Youth @ 3 - 4 yards. HS @ 5 yds.

Coach, at the 12:55 mark, what do you think about Power Read against this look? If you did, would you down the playside 3 with the PST and double the PSG and C on the nose, with the H-back pulling for PSLB, or do you think you have to double the 3 with PST and PSG and solo the C on the N?

Depends on the personnel, we have a tackle we can leave on the 3 all day. In High School helping the Center is usually the safer bet

Couldn't get past 5 minutes of commercials. I'm sure it was an informative video.

Coach Mac, Not exactly on topic, but what advice would you give to a young football coach whose trying to continue to learn aspects of the game, from basic fundamentals to more nuanced offensive and defensive concepts..But feels overwhelmed by all the tools and resources and concepts out there in today’s world? Any thoughts on the best processes to build a solid football IQ foundation ? Thanks !

One piece at a time. Lear how to block run game first, then progress to pass protection, then routes. On defense learn a front and coverage first and then figure out how to fit runs from there. Build a solid foundation learning terminology first then go from there
