I’m redecorating my room right now which is really helping me to try and be productive. I’m grateful I have the opportunity to have a room, in a house, with heating and a bathroom and shower and safety, to decorate. I can paint it whatever colour and if I need to, buy new furniture. When I think about my room - MY room that I don’t have to share with a stranger, or be afraid that my family and I are going to be kicked out - I am so lucky. I am so so grateful to have this box, with a ceiling and 4 walls, where I can escape the world and be comfortable in my bed. Thank you mum and dad, thank you to my house, for providing me with this gift of security x

I am really grateful for someone I really love & look up to who is moving away over the summer. Although I am devastated about the news (I just found out on Monday), I am trying to really find the good in the situation. I am so grateful for the 2 or 3 years we have had so far. I am also confident that her moving will only make us closer; though this is hard to believe/ remember when I am so sad.

Loved this. And about will we ever live in a world where mental health isn’t stigmatised, we never will simply due to the fact that not everyone will understand. There’s still going to be plain ignorant people who say it’s not real but it will get less stigmatised hopefully

I wanted to add something on speaking to therapists about how you're feeling! It's ok to say "I don't know!" I've always been a perfectionist, and struggle to always give my therapist the "right answer." So when I had no clue how I was feeling, I would just say "sad" or whatever, because I felt a strong need to provide an answer. I'm sure it stems from the stress I had in school. Just remember that its ok to not have an answer in therapy, and being honest is truly the key to getting the best help ♥️
