Last song off of Dean's 1975 solo album, which was produced by Alan Parsons and featured orchestral arrangements by Andrew Powell.

Reflections has become 1 of my favorite all time songs. I'm 76 now & the lyrics just have MORE MEANING TO ME NOW than back in early 70's. This song,Doing Something brings me to tears listening to it . Thank you Dean for gifting us with your wonderful voice. RIP

I just discovered that there was so much more to Dean Ford.. thanks to you tube... I was in the era of marmalade and he was an amazing singer, song writer. But then to know he struggled like us and still became a very wonderful man! RIP Dean

I feel like crying watching these Dean Ford videos - to see him go from a young man to an old man. I remember Marmalade and the song Reflections from when I was very young. I came across the video on KZbin after he died. I feel a bit melancholy watching him as a young man at the start of his career and an older man at the end of his life and knowing, now, the story of his life. I never realised he went on beyond Marmalade and created more music. This song is beautiful.

He had a great solo album in '75. Thats where this song is from. Glad you liked it as much as I do. (The whole album is great!)

Too sad that the record companies didn't get behind them a lot more to promote them more. It would have been a game changer if they had top talent to design their album designs, stylists, and someone to ensure that everything put out promoting them was top-drawer. The promotion should have been as class as their music...
